This mom and pop store is my go-to store for the best magazines in the city. It has a small town feel which is refreshing in this bustling city as John is always warm and welcoming ☺️

This is my favorite little tuck shop in the Kerrisdale neighborhood. The owners are lovely people who always greet you with a warm hello and ask how your day is going. The Newsroom has a fantastic assortment of magazines and is the place where everyone in the neighborhood goes to buy their lotto tickets.I love The Newsroom!!

Love the Newsroom!!John is simply the best. I buy all my lottery group tickets here. He knows me by name, allows and welcomes my dogs into his store, gives them water on hot days is so kind and very efficient. The store has the biggest magazine selection I have ever seen. John and his wife are there everyday, all day. The only day he leaves early is to celebrate his beautiful grandson's birthdays!! Love this place
