Worst place.Black lady was very rude to me and my coworker, and a brawl was about to break.A good place only if you know all patron otherwise rudeAvoid at all cost.

The place advertises itself to be open till 2am. Went there at 6:10 pm for fish n chips and the kitchen was closed. Whats the point of advertising as a fish n chips place u dont get served.The lady at the counter said if there arent many customers, they close the kitchen early. She also said there is no fixed time as to how early the kitchen closes.If you're hungry, avoid this place so you wont be disappointed.I walked 2 kms more to 2282 Kingston to get fish and chips. That was awesome.

My wife and I stopped there with her parents in July of 2022. We were taking them on a two week tour of Canada and New York to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. An un-planned stop there turned into one of the highlights of our trip. To celebrate their anniversary Carmen not only gave us all several rounds of free tequila shots, not only gave them to bottle of wine, she made a call and had cups delivered so my in-laws had something to drink the wine in later. Just wonderful. Everyone there was really friendly and she knows each and every customer by name and drink. Anyone that complains about this place needs to relax and learn to enjoy life. Thank you Carmen for treating complete strangers like best friends. Sending love from your new friends in Arkansas. Cheers!!!

This place is disgusting and filthy beyond belief. They advertise as serving food but there’s no kitchen. I can’t believe they haven’t been shut down. The bartender was so drunk she couldn’t even serve a drink…apparently she’s the owner…yikes…was only there a short while when I saw a bedbug literally crawl off one of the patrons jacket onto the bar. I told the drunken bartender, her response…please don’t tell anyone…hello health inspector?

Me and my girlfriend were craving fish and chips late at night, and after checking google we saw this was the only place open. We called in ahead to make sure and later reached the shop at around 12 am. The lady serving was really nice to us, made us feel comfortable and the food was good too! Will definitely go again the next time we get the chance :)

Cheers is an unexpected hole in the wall bar/restaurant I visited today. We went there just to eat fish and chips. But we left with a heartwarming meal and drinks made all the more special by the host and owner, Carmen. She welcomed us like we are long time customers. The comfortable and friendly ambiance made me miss my friends back home. If my time would allow, I would go back and savor the food and friendly company. Cheers to Carmen!
