Penney Murphy and Associates

We've had wonderful experiences with a few different counselors at Penney Murphy. Specifically, Lana for my daughter and Murray for me! Murray has helped me differently than any other counselor I've seen to date. It's so validating and empowering. I've shared my story with friends and family and know a few others who have had similar wonderful experiences here. Thanks!!

Went for an initial meeting regarding our child. His first appointment was cancelled due to staff illness. They said they would contact us to rebook. Never did. Just took our money for the initial assessment and never heard back, not terribly professional and caring, in my opinion.

Went to see Kristen a couple of times! She is very nice and I will definitely be back!

If getting GASLIT" by your Counselling Professional's is acceptable

Been emailing them and they said they would send my information onto my therapist cause I have no way of contacting her. Only allowed to make appointments. But ended up with no one replying to me. Another place that doesn’t take MH seriously.Overall my therapist was great - just staff themselves.

This clinic refused to take on my child as a patient, after I provided them with a legal document indicating what they asked for. They interpreted it as being incorrect and asked that I get a different one in order to proceed. I explained what I provided was summarized by my lawyer and that other clinics had taken on my child as a patient based on the documentation being sufficient.They believed my lawyer was wrong and my judgement, based on how they interpret the law for their practice.For me to ask my lawyer to reinterpret/re-explain the document to me or to go back to court to have it changed would cost thousands of dollars.I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this clinic.
