Kickin' Back Alpaca Ranch

We had a lovely time with Carolyn and her amazing Alpacas! Carolyn was warm and welcoming and gave us some really fascinating stories and information. We got lots of time to interact with many of the alpacas and highly recommend the experience!

This is a wonderful place! Family-owned, and very well maintained. The alpacas’ well-being is their priority and you can see it reflected in how well the alpacas are doing. The alpacas are sweet and you can pet them and give them treats! One of the owners, Carolyn, gave us a tour and she was very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. We arrived earlier than expected and she gave us a wonderful tour right away. The shop is very well equipped and the fact that the alpacas wool is fair-trade it's a plus that made us fall in love with the place even more! Thank you so much for let us discover this amazing place! We will definetly return!

What an absolutely amazing way to get up close and learn about these sweet animals. Carolyn was so knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and you really walk away with a memorable experience.We will be back to her gift shop as well. We had a great experience. A warm welcome really encouraged my kids to ask a lot of questions and be really engaged in the visit. Feeding the alpacas was the best part for my 3 1/2 year old, while my 7 and 9 year olds really enjoyed petting and cuddling the alpacas as they roamed about. Even the barn cat proved to be sweet and social during our tour! This was my favourite alpaca Goldilocks- holding court with the others.

This place is great! I took my two daughters there and they had a blast! Carolyn was great. She's very knowledgable and her love for the alpacas is very evident. Will definately be going back next year.

The tour I did at Kickin' it Alpaca Ranch was amazing! I learned a lot about them and got to pet them and feed them, they were so cute! The gift shop also had some great items! You can tell the alpacas are well taken care of as well, highly recommend!

It's hard to articulate how great our experience was at Kickin Back Alpaca Ranch. What a fascinating place. Carolyn was a terrific host and Doug was extremely helpful with the booking. While we were there, my wife was hanging out with a young alpaca named Sassy. The next thing I knew, Sassy had her neck in my wife's arms and was just soaking up the love like a goofy affection sponge. Carolyn shared all kinds of interesting stories about her and Doug's life with these hilarious animals when another alpaca named Goldilocks made it abundantly clear that I wasn't pulling my weight in the affection department. I corrected my behaviour immediately. If you're thinking about it, book it. You won't be disappointed. These animals know something we don't.

We loved our tour with Carolyn! We learned so much about alpacas and had a great time. Highlights were alpaca hugs, feeding the ladies treats and laughing at their noises and funny little hops. We have a twelve year old who now wants to be an alpaca farmer! Carolyn was lovely and answered all of our questions. We will be back with more family in tow :)

Carolyn was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable about Alpacas. The Alpacas loved eating from our hands. They let us pet them. Very gentle animals.

Great experience! Carolyn has taught us many things about the alpacas and we had a wonderful time with these lovely creatures. It’s a perfect place to take your kids and loved ones. Carolyn told us they are open throughout the year.We were very lucky to see the newborn baby alpaca. She’s born in the same day we visited there.I would definitely recommend checking out this place to everyone.
