Greater Victoria Velodrome Association

I love the velodrome. But the website is horrible. It allows you to purchase a trackpass and membership, then provides no guidance or information on how to book timings and actually use the track. The website doesn’t even allow you to contact anyone, that function seems to be conveniently not working. Perhaps a “how to” guide would be appropriate. Very poor management of this awesome cycling resource.

Love the Velodrome! So glad I decided to try it out, I just wish there were more times available. Currently, there's only 3 days you can use the track, and that's still weather permitting... From my understanding it's due to it being managed by JDF Rec and the field in the middle also gets rented out, barring use of the Velodrome?! There's no ability to drop in and use the track unless there's a coach, which is a pain, so everyone is always there at the same time... Every time the track is open that I've been there (3 times now) it has been at max capacity with a waitlist...In summary, the track is 5 stars, but the lack of availability bring it down to 4.

Track cycling rules! I did the learn to ride session and had an amazing time.

It's a whole lot of fun to ride bikes on the velodrome.
