We have taken our dogs here for over 10 years. Dr. Rolfe is amazing with both dogs, including a very skittish one. Rates are fair and the front desk service is excellent. A great place to take your pets!

I’ve had a few angels show up in my life and Dr. Rolfe is one of them. I recently had to say goodbye to a little critter I’d had for 20 years. The amount of care and compassion Dr. Rolfe and his team showed me and my gecko was unparalleled. I’d previously left another clinic in tears when they stated I wasn’t allowed to be present for her euthanasia because it’s “not pretty”. I called multiple other Victoria “reptile friendly” clinics and was left feeling so disheartened I was about to go to the mainland to see a specialized herp veterinarian. A friend recommended Dr. Rolfe and I’m so grateful she did. It was the most peaceful goodbye I’ve had in a very long time, thank you for giving me that Dr. Rolfe.If you’re looking for a veterinarian that truly cares about ALL animals, with a great deal of knowledge and humility, Dr. Rolfe is your guy. My dog enjoyed her visit to Thetis Heights Clinic more than a dog park, and I enjoyed it, too. That was nice, because it's a little scary going to a new vet clinic.I very much appreciated Dr. Rolfe's expertise and his clear explanation as to why my dog's symptoms presented the way they did. There was no rushing through the appointment, and he answered all my questions in a way that was easy to grasp. I was impressed with his compassion for our family situation.The office staff were very friendly, my appointment started on time, and the fees were as expected. I'm very glad to have a vet clinic in the neighbourhood.

We've been taking our cats here for 15 years and have always received compassionate, holistic, and informative care. The bottom line has always been about the best interest of our cats, which builds trust. Dr. Rolfe is extremely knowledgeable and provides solutions other vets haven't, improving the quality of our cats' lives.

Made a phone call to check if they accepted new clients and the answer I got was to fill out their application form. After completing and submitting the forms - we waited few days and called back to see if our puppy has been accepted but we were told to keep waiting. After two weeks of no news, we called again just to find out that our application was not even being tracked. Then once they found it, we received an email the day after stating that they are not accepting new clients due to staff shortages. What we are annoyed with this process was that they could have told us two weeks ago over the phone that they are not accepting new clients due to staff shortages rather than making us fill out the forms with personal information and make us wait two weeks when we could have used that time to seek other vets. I'm sure the vet service is good but the goose chase and waste of time was not very pleasant.

Best vet clinic I have ever been to! My cat loves Dr. Rolfe so much and the whole team of staff are so welcoming and super nice! I suggest this clinic to everyone I know!

I cannot think of anyway in which my experience would be improved. Your front end staff are friendly and professional, The Vet, Dr Rolfe who again assisted me was very personable, and approachable, he was able to address each of my concerns about my Dog Odin. I like the fact that this practice treats me and my dog with such care and respect. I am very happy that I found Thetis Heights. The last thing anyone wants when dealing with issues with one's pet is to come to a place where you are not respected and appreciated. At Thetis Heights it is always a positive and welcoming place. We love Dr.Rolfe and all of his staff. He has always gone above and beyond to ensure my elderly Boston Terrier received the best treatment plan for his rare diagnosis of Cushing’s Disease. Although our pup is no longer with us, there is no doubt that dr.Rolfe and his knowledge/continual researching and educating, allowed our beloved Bentley to live a full life even with such a horrible diagnosis. Thank you for giving us more cherished years with him and good quality of life up until his last snuggle. We will always continue to support this vet family by bringing our other fur babies to see him.

Brought my bird in to see Dr. Rolfe because he hadn’t been himself. Since following Dr. Rolfe’s recommendations, he’s been doing much better! I’d been a bit nervous about being able to find a vet that had the knowledge and experience to treat birds in this small city, but Dr. Rolfe was very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. He went above and beyond to not only give medical advice for the concern we came in for, but also for other aspects of care he noticed could be improved. He really cares about his patients and it shows. I’d recommend him to anyone else looking for a vet for their bird.
