I tried this restaurant for the first time today, and I was really amazed with the quality of food. I think they serve very authentic Indian cuisine as compared to other restaurants that I’ve visited before. I tried amritsari kulcha, kadai paneer with garlic naan. Every food item was very delicious. The atmosphere and staff was also very good. I would highly recommend others to try food from this restaurant.

It's a new restaurant in Langley downtown and I thought to give it a try on Father's Day as they were giving a 20% discount. My plan was to have a heavy brunch with Punjabi favorites of chole bhature/ Amritsari kulchas with Lassi.. yes recipe for a food coma..The food arrived quickly and we devoured it quicker. The bhatura was not oily ,cholas were balanced and the chutney and achar were smackingly delicious. We went with our hearts and tummies full.

Great food and service. Was pretty quiet when we went in. Not sure what it'll be like when they're busy. Will definitely come back. The butter chicken and lamb vindaloo had a unique flavor that was very tasty. The garlic naan was light and delicious

This new management and new restaurant- Namastay Desi has mind blowing authentic Indian food. I must say unbeatable quality and taste. What an amritsari Kulcha it was!!With the amount paid you get a big portion. I just loved the ambience and the service too. For me this is 10/10 in all matters. Will definitely come back again and refer to my friends too.

I had the unfortunate idea of ordering from this place through Skip as it was new. The menu looked enticing with lot of exciting looking dishes that some of the other restaurants don’t have. I am going to review based on the items I ordered:1. Pepper Chicken- The lowest cut of meat (white meat) boiled in water and then pan fried slightly with pepper and ginger garlic. Frankly the worst I’ve seen in pepper chicken.2. Fried Rice (Veg and Chicken)- It’s hard to find authentic Indian style fried rice here. But brown in colour and average in taste. People should learn how to make fried rice from Indian restaurant called Chicken County. I’ve never seen that kind of fried rice here in Canada. So I can’t blame them. I guess.3. Veg Manchurian- Where does the concept of overpowering tomato ketchup come in a Manchurian? Canadian Indian restaurants need to learn how to make Manchurian sauce. The only restaurant who has managed to give authentic Manchurian in Langley is Chili House.4. Veg and Chicken Burger- There’s no Indian touch to it at all. It was as if we ordered it from Burger King.Overall, very disappointed. I always love trying new restaurants to see how authentic their food is. This was a disappointment for me.
