I was here for sad reason being a funeral. I have never been in a Unitarian Church before and what a lovely place, very simple but the pastor was so kind and the people as well. It was one of the most beautiful celebration of life/funeral I have been to and it left many with tears and smiles in the end.

Had a memorial service here the group helping me was fantastic. The president (Irene) was self entitled and privileged and didn't care that we rented the space at a certain time. She did not know I was nearby and I clearly heard her say I can do and go in any space after all I am the president" to her friend while they both cackled. I felt so disrespected since I had just suffered a loss. Would not go back. Privileged and entitled so disappointing."

I love this place because everyone is so accepted and kind and the area where they do service is so beautiful. If you go out back into the garden it's like nothing else in the world matters anymore. It's so peaceful.

I am not a church-goer. But I was hooked from the first time my friends took me there while visiting Hamilton. Lovely service, full of love and light, it's a place I recommend for families and seniors as well, kids get to participate in different activities as well. Very impressive, thank you for all your efforts, I, sure God smiles ...

My wife and are new to Hamilton, and we enjoy this community of caring people. Weekly group is also a good place for deeper reflection of life and hearing other people's life stories. Lots of good social justice advocacy and actions. People are open-minded and friendly. I very much agree with Unitarian Universalist's theology and values after doing years of searching in psychology, religion, and spirituality.

Friendly, helpful people. All very open minded, with a fun and diverse set of leaders for an equally diverse community. Hosted an event there for the QSCC group from McMaster and it couldn't have been more affordable, friendly, smoothly operated, and welcoming. Recommended as a venue for events, or for a service on Sundays!

I was just married by one of the Lay Chaplains by the name of Tim Versteeg. Everything was great! He came to our wedding destination early, everything was an easy, smooth set up, constant communication in the days leading up to the ceremony and was even able to work around our rather short schedule and gave us the non-religious ceremony my (now) wife and I wanted. If you're reading this, yes.. GO TO THESE PEOPLE!I'm not good with social conversations and all that sort of thing and it was easy, even for me.

This must not be a Christian church because I noticed in everyone of the reviews God was never mentioned and nobody talked about who their faith is in, who they worshipped. I guess this is just a gathering of nice people.
