Diann Castle.She represented me when my father passed away. She also has represented my Father in the past so I thought I could trust her, but after noticing numerous RED FLAGS with her for example - I was not provided any information regarding the associated costs and how it was going to be implemented (hourly, phone calls, emails, etc.)prior to invoicing. Even tried Confirming with her and no reply. Also usually before a lawyer agrees to act on behalf of a client, a retainer agreement is required. I did not sign any such document/contract prior to commencement/Billing.After thoroughly reviewing the invoice (after having to ask for a detailed summary), I noticed numerous miscalculations based on my call records. This lead me to believe that the evaluations on the remaining items to also be inaccurate.Do Not Hire DIANN CASTLE!!!!!! unless you have stupid amounts of money to toss away

I hired Dianne.I wouldn't recommend her what so ever! When I fired her she cried and asked if I was threatening her.I told her to grow up.The billing was something else as well.We all know now that who ever has the kids wins hands down.The lawyers know this but pry on your emotions.Its sickening how they will kick you when your down.If your spouse has the kids and especially doesn't work you might as well bend over cause your going to loose 70 percent of your net income,even if you had Johnnie Cochrane.The lawyers all know this it's a big joke they ask what do you want for the adult that has the kids because they know they can have it all.I don't know how they live with a rigged game and pretend to be ligetimate but it all pays well doesn't it.Further to the comment below Dianne was responsible for court and the agreement not the other lawyer.

Diane Castle is the principal of Castle and Associates. Diane is highly regarded in the legal community and is known to be an excellent lawyer. Her associate, Ashley Wilson is also an excellent lawyer. Ashley is extremely pleasant, very knowledgable, she is very thorough and diligent. The quality of Ashley's work is excellent and she works really hard to achieve success for her clients. I highly recommend Ashley and the law firm Castle and Associates.

We used Diane Castles for an issue back in 1999. She was absolutely fantastic. We had an unfortunate situation involving mental illness with a child and we were being manipulated by CPS. Diane stepped in and straightened everything out and protected our family. We refer to her in our house as the best family law lawyer in Calgary.

Cori Mercier from Castle & Associates has been a diligent, organized and effective lawyer in my case. She has a sound knowledge of the family law legal system and how to navigate it for her clients. She has always been polite and respectful and I felt that she listened to me and always responded in a timely manner. Lourdes Garcia was also extremely friendly, professional and supportive and they both made a big difference in helping me feel confident that my legal case was being taken care of in the best possible way. I was fighting in family court for my children. Diann was my lawyer. Yes Diann is expensive. That been said she is amazing to deal with. You get what you pay for. Diann assistant Sara was also great. Everything was timely and they helped take some of the stress out of the situation I was in.They got me what I wanted and were very straight forward and honest. I spoke to Diann and it was always about the best interest of the kids. I cant thank her enough as Ive been in and out of court for a decade and had other lawyers but she was the one who helped me finish things up. I highly recommend her and the staff and Castle law.Thank you.

I recently used Castle and Associates for a second time after submitting a family court application after a mediation last year in early 2021. I can't stress enough that Diann is an amazing lawyer and you get what you pay for. Diann's associate Tanya Kelm was also amazing in the handling of my case and letters, court documents, affidavits and documentation but Ms Castle handled my court date and I got everything I wanted, Diann was so good in court the opposing counsels lawyer barely got 10 words in. I felt bad for the other side. Diann commanded the court room on this day and because of her experience I was successful. Worth every penny, I highly recommend Diann and Tanya.

I hired Alexandra to help me get an updated Parenting Order in place as the current one no longer reflects my current living situation. Alex was well aware that it is a time sensitive issue but after nearly 4 months of her working on my file and next to nothing done on my file I terminated her relations to my file.It was nearly impossible to reach her and when I did I was heavily over charged. I picked up my file today with a few searches done (fair charges) and a cheque for $300 left from the initial ($3000) retainer. But no work done?? Where did all the retainer go? I found if I would send a quick email with a question it not only took days to get a response and never once did I get just a fast email back to answer my question it always came as letter form (HIGHER REVENUE). It's quite disappointing having to follow up with your lawyer on emails you sent days ago when they are hired to represent your best interests.I also found out that when I would call the receptionist (Brittany), would tell me one thing and then when I finally did hear from Alex I was told something completely different.It is a disappointment working with a lawyer who is more concerned about revenue then the lives of the people she is hired to help.I do not recommend hiring this firm.Working with Alex was an incredible waste of time and money and I plan to further this review and have somebody look into the work and client care that comes from this firm, especially directly from Alex.
