never got to fight the swans, duck pond is better

A collection of large storm water catchment ponds that have been well designed as a natural habitats for waterbirds. A small group of trumpeter swans hang here much of the year.

Very nice place to see waterfowl, the smallest contaminated pond (because it catches rainwater runoff from streets and the walmart parking lot) has lots of Mallard ducks (called duck pond) the big pond, which is one that is very clean and designed for waterfowl, has a pair of Trumpeter swans, there is a clearing that is easily accessible from the trail that the swans sometimes hang out at (as shown in the photos), sometimes they will be swimming in the middle of the lake, and sometimes they will be hiding in the underbrush beside the pond. No geese during my visit.
