John A. Leslie Public School

(I was forced to make this review) John A Leslie is a every good school, not every school is going to be awesome. I have wonderful friends I’ve meet and (some) good teachers as well. We are one of the special schools, so we are fortunate to have computers, a park, air-conditioning, and expensive school supplies. The food at our school is delicious! The another day, we had blueberry muffins and fresh apples. The school is not gross, because we have a good janitor now. Also, we recently just started re-painting the school and a new garden. So don’t complain! Also, the only complaint I have is the French teacher, but that’s not a really bad problem, Ever than that, JAL is an wonderful school!Never come here. Please, it’s terrible. I’m stuck here.

This school is pretty good except a conflict. There are some bad teachers who blame victims of a situation. For example. Me and my friends were playing and someone's ball came. One of my friends gently kicked it, and the person whose it was started swearing. Anyways, the ball person kicked the ball we were playing with twice close to enter a backyard. We told the teacher, but the teacher made punished us and made us sit at the wall. Very bad teachers

used to go here, horrid place, teachers dont care, they'll scream at the kids for no reason as long as they get paid, some teachers are really nice, but very very rare. never vent to them about your problems, theyll use it against you [from experience], and mind you, ive learnt more off of the internet then they ever taught me, 0/10.

We've been very fortunate to have so many exceptional teachers at JAL. My daughter has been blessed to have teachers such as Mr. Bourne whose enthusiasm goes beyond words and if listened to his online lessons would impress any professional into believing a next-level human being has found their calling. Ms.Peters is a beautiful soul that has gone the extra mile to help her students feel valued and loved and taken the time to show her compassion. During the high of covid JAL was there for the nursing home I worked at by giving our residents inspiring messages of hope from their students bringing some of my clients to hopeful tears. JAL worked together with us during Pride month by creating a gorgeous banner and colourful flowers we decorated our float with and this helped our residents feel so loved and embraced.In our experience, we feel very thankful for teachers like Mr. Bourne, Ms. Peters and Mr. Parolin/ Mr. Arthurs, And Harrigan and Principal Thomas McKeown.

Such a fabulous daycare my son loves it here and the staff are amazing with him . I would recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking. Very clean and up to date with everything and the kids are well taken care of . Never been happier to have my son here

I agree with lots of people. Some teachers are very bad like Mr. C. He likes all students just play on the ground, as he was gym teacher. Give good comments on report card. I know someone who did not get chance in specialized school due to his comments on the report card although he was excellent student !!

I love this school. Mr. McKeown and Mr. Feng are amazing leaders. All teachers go above and beyond. We have been so lucky.

I've been going to this school for four years and only a few teachers are nice. When there is a conflict, the victim is always blamed instead of the suspect, which has happened in many cases. The teachers here are very rude and stubborn, only here for the paychecks, and when you give gifts and such, they act so nice, but when you ask for help, they start yelling. Mr Zitani began yelling at me when a child entered my personal space and he began screaming, so I told him to quiet up and he ruined my entire lunch. At the end of the day, DON'T SEND YOUR KIDS HERE, IT'S BAD, GO TO DANFORTH GARDENS OR SOMEWHERE ELSE.
