After lots of frustration trying to follow all the blogs and videos with conflicting advice, and being overwhelmed by all the variables with hair and products, I reached out to Krista. After the first session my hair and my confidence in my ability to style it improved dramatically. After three sessions I know I have what I need to make my hair the best it can be. I now have such a better understanding for how to take care of it. I also get compliments on my hair! Save your money trying a million products and get personalized advice that will get you the results you want much faster.

I waited months for Krista to come to NB to open her shop. It was worth the wait to get in to her as she transformed my hair! I had no idea my hair had the ability to curl the way it did. She taught me so many tips and tricks on managing my curly hair. Above all, she spent hours with me one on one teaching me step by step! Krista definitely shows that she loves what she does and is just excited to see your beautiful new curls as you are! She's very personable and I highly recommend her if you are on the fence or curious. She has tons of products in stock... it was a great experience for me!! Trust me, book your appointment!

Krista is amazing! I never wore or took care of my curls, and took her Curl Foundations course in June of last year which was super helpful! I went for my first consult that same month and have just recently been back for my 3rd appointment since! She spent hours literally just teaching me about my hair, we went step by step through my wash and styling process and tested out products that I was already using vs other ones to see which worked best for me. I was never pressured into any products or any type of cut and she was super conscious of what I was comfortable with when it came to my hair. I've been so much more confident with my curls and absolutely trust any recommendations she ever has in terms of products or cuts for my hair. If you're curious about options for your curls then definitely book a consult with her!

Fully recommend anyone with curly hair to visit Krista ! I learned how to untangle the curls, make them bouncier and bigger. Learned how to use hair products that are best for me. I reread my personal hairstyling routine every time I wash and style . I am so happy with my cut, my learning session and the whole experience. I had 4.5 hr of a hairdresser all to myself …she explained every step/ I practiced and so on. First experience was worth the money and can’t wait to return in 4 months!

Krista Leavitt is a curly hair specialist to be sure. It is obvious she loves what she does and is so passionate. She will take as much time as necessary to give you the results you want (and your hair is capable of obviously) and will give you the education to care for your curls. Your first appointment with Krista will be life changing if you have never realized what your hair can do when cared for properly. She is worth every penny. I highly recommend her salon.

Krista is patient and kind while helping you determine what your hair needs. I thought I knew my hair and how to style it - turns out I had a lot to learn! I appreciate the amount of time she took to make sure I knew what to do each step of the way. This isn't going to be a sit back and relax haircut, it's going to be an interactive download session where you learn how to get the best results for your hair. 10/10 Highly recommend.
