A caring professional Endodontist, Dr Kaufmann, immediately relieved my pain as an infection had set in. He was totally concerned with my well-being and kept his promise that he would fix my failed root canal by another dentist. The staff were amazing and caring, and I highly recommend Dr. Kaufmann to anyone seeking dental work requiring an Endodontist.

Great experience! Freezing was comfortable that I barely felt the needles.I left his office with no pain post dental surgery, drove myself home, and back to work the next day. I had minimal swelling but followed Dr. Kaufmann's instructions with icing that some Advil was enough to manage any discomfort.Only pain/discomfort I had was from the sutures randomly pulling if I laughed or tried to open my mouth wide to eat food the first few days post surgery.Highly recommend his services especially for individuals who have anxiety with needles. Minimal pain and discomfort.

I was referred by my General Dentist and Dr. Kaufmann was able to see me the same day. I was very anxious leading up to the time of my appointment (I mean, who isn't when they are drilling in your mouth) but that was laid to rest when he sat me down and explained the whole procedure. I was quite impressed. I did not feel a thing and he played tunes the whole time. Afterwards, he showed me the work he did and explained everything. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any specialized work such as a root canal. You will walk away satisfied.

All the staff and Dr Kaufman are extremely helpful and friendly.Was able to get root canal done fast and was the easiest root canal I have gotten and have had many.Listening to music during procedure was so great. Definitely recommend

Dr. Kaufmann's office was wonderful - I had a broken tooth and in extreme pain and they got me in just 18 hours after my dentist called. The experience was wonderful from beginning to end - Dr. Kaufmann was very kind, and explained everything in great detail. It was my 2nd visit with him and he was as kind and respectful as ever! Would highly recommend!

Aware of prior reviews, this is still the guy you want to see if you're needing an emergency root canal. He is an educator at UofM for a reason and is very technically proficient, and is likely the only endodontist to book patients in on an emergency basis (which is a much needed service). I went in for a throbbing tooth preventing sleep and was pain free in 1 hr after sitting in the chair and very grateful. His staff are extremely friendly/welcoming as well.
