We recently contacted the team to repair some water damaged window trim on our home and are thrilled with the results. Quality and colour match is great, and the workers were efficient and tidy!

We've had two windows replaced on our home, with two different experiences. Ecoline was the first and the absolute WORST 1/5. Speyside came in after and did the same size/style window and the experience was infinitely better. Team was professional, on time, finished on time, made repairs to the Ecoline window, and also adjusted one of our doors for free. This team is amazing. I’m scheduling them to finish the rest of my house.

This review is from having my 14 windows, sliding door and main door replaced. From the start of the experience, the quote and up until my 50% deposit everything was going well regarding communication back and forth and I was feeling good about my choice. However, my experience with Speyside Windows and Doors has been a severely disappointing experience since my initial deposit. I had to keep reaching out to them for the status of my windows, and even with them knowing my schedule and the start date 7 months after the date of my deposit, they still couldn't coordinate to have completed during the week I was off. This impacted my summer and caused me stress. Then with them splitting the install up, I was pressured by Ryan M to submit partial payments when the agreement was to pay the remainder 50% upon full completion of the work. I made the mistake of paying them a portion of the remainder, and as of this moment, my project is still not completed. I would strongly suggest holding firm and not paying the last 50% until the job is completely done and you are satisfied. I paid 50% upfront 11 months ago, and the job was started 4 months ago. They ordered one window with the wrong swing (bathroom) and a clear sidelight instead of an obscured for my front door. I'm still waiting for my sidelight to be replaced. I emailed Ryan M and Ryan R three weeks ago and still no response to get the sidelight booked and other issues resolved. Their lack of communication and scheduling have been brutal to deal with. Also, I had to spend my time double checking the install which I would've thought the owner who was on site would have done. Doesn't seem right having the customer inspect and point out discrepancies. For example, not painting the cuts on the batten board to prevent rot. In fact, I texted Ryan M about the paint for the cuts I left with the batten board, which he didn't respond and then didn't paint the cuts until I pointed out after install stating an oversight. I emailed Ryan M over 2 months ago about not having all the vendor labels for my windows so I can send in for my rebate, plus other issues like the sliding door lock not engaging, gaps not filled on inside window trim, a scratch on the inside of one of their installed windows, and other minor issues noticed needing to be resolved... and no response. Ryan R emailed me a month ago saying they hadn't forgotten about me regarding the sidelight and it should be ready soon. I had a voicemail when I got back from vacation saying the sidelight was ready, so I emailed Ryan R and Ryan M again regarding the issues emailed in September and looking forward to coordinating a date set to get everything completed/resolved.... 3 weeks later and still no response. Looks like they have lost their high standards" mantra and switched to the "get it done.... eventually" attitude. No question in my mind that I went with the best door/window instalment company providing service in Calgary. Ryan seemed to be the only estimator who actually knew what he was doing and didn't try to push me into making a decision on the spot. Speyside is the only company that provided me with an installed dog door and the large sized window I wanted. The installers were efficient, on time and available to come back the next day to make a small adjustment due to the house settling. I will recommend to anyone who asks!

This project included replacing and upgrading all windows & doors on the main & upper level of our almost 40-year-old house to Energy Star efficiency.The whole team at Speyside did an amazing job from start to finish. Ryan R. handled quotes & communications always in a thorough, professional & friendly manner. Matt & Cole skillfully performed all installation tasks for all doors, windows & other upgrades to our home also with assistance from Ryan M. when required.Ryan M., who is the owner, also put the finishing touches to the final project, many of which were above & beyond original quotes & services. As we are seniors this total commitment by the Speyside team assisted us immensely.All staff were very courteous and demonstrated superior knowledge in window and door installation. The site inside & out was left in perfectly clean condition daily. A job well done!

This summer we had our windows replaced by this company and were very satisfied with the quality of their work.This project took us almost a year to get accomplished. It is not very easy to find a company that installs European-type (tilt and turn) windows in Calgary, and we are glad that after 4 months of searching for one we met Ryan R. from Speyside Windows & Doors.Ryan demonstrated a very responsible approach to the measuring step; he visited our house several times to make sure all the measurements were correct and all the details are accounted for. Only after that our order was sent to the factory in BC (Innotech Windows and Doors). We would like to especially thank Ryan for his advice to replace basement windows we didn’t plan to replace initially.The installers' crew – Ryan M., Matt, and Cole – is outstanding. The guys are hard-working, and did an excellent job, taking into consideration outside temperatures exceeding +30C, the side of the house that contains the major amount of windows facing south, and the weight of the windows. They also transformed our patio door into a window and a window into a large patio door. In total, they replaced 11 windows and installed 1 patio door. The crew members were open to communication, and willing to answer all questions and explain all nuances. But the most important thing is their attention to details and the quality of finished work.It was the best 5-day experience we had with a company that does renovations in the last 20 years. They never cut corners, and when they were not quite satisfied with the result they would re-do the work until it is done right. They also did everything it took to get the project done on time, even if they had to work late hours (last day they started at 6:30 am and finished at 10 pm).We would highly recommend this company if you are looking for someone to replace your windows or doors.

Speyside did a bunch of the windows in our home and we'll be calling them for the remaining windows in the future.They are professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Speyside was fantastic to work with. My custom door is so beautiful. The installation was fast and professional. Their customer service was amazing and they went above and beyond all expectations. I highly recommend and will use them again in the future!

Ryan was fantastic at responding to emails. He was out to take door measurements and had quote and a timeline that was within 4 weeks! The crew were friendly and did a great job on the install.
