Silversides Fishing Adventures

We hired Brian, Aaron, and Radek to take out our stag party for salmon and Sturgeon. It was an absolutely unreal experience! Our boat with Aaron caught 7 sturgeon, while the others caught quite a few as well. All the captains were prompt, professional, but also really easygoing and fun to spend 8 hours on the river with. I can't recommend these guys and this activity more highly!

We just went fishing today with Brian for white sturgeon along the Fraser River. Despite a rough morning for our guide involving a break-in from his truck, that did not put a damper on the trip. Brian was friendly and talkative and fishing was great and action was non-stop with a total 5 sturgeons landed. The fights were intense and took on average 15-30 minutes to land for us. Highly recommend if you're around BC and want to land some world class fish.

Aaron was a great guide, we had an absolutely amazing time. Caught 4 Sturgeon, including this one. My son has had this on his bucket list since he saw the episode of River Monsters with Jeremey Wade fishing with you for sturgeon. We will be making this an annual event!! Absolutely amazing! Brian caught us our first fish within 15 minutes of getting to our spot… and they just kept biting! We caught four fish over seven feet, two around six feet and two little guy. It was a good day with a great guide. Thanks again!!

Recently used Silversides for a Walk and Wade Salmon Fly Fishing trip as well as a Mission River Sturgeon fishing trip. We were a little apprehensive about booking the fly fishing trip as we had never fly fished before. We were assured they instruct many beginners and that even beginners can be successful. We were provided a guide who was not only friendly and familiar with the area, but was a great instructor. We all had the hang of fly fishing in no time. Sturgeon fishing was an experience of a lifetime, we were provided an experienced guide who had been fishing the river for years and years. We reeled in a nearly 8 foot sturgeon just minutes into our trip, shortly after that, we hooked an 8 plus footer. I hope to be back and bring new faces to the thrilling adventures offered by Silverides.

I would like to commend this tour and this company. Our guide was very professional and knowledgeable of the area and got us several Sturgeons within a half-day trip! Everything from the tackle to the bait was well prepared. We ended the tour with a huge 6-7 footer Sturgeon. Overall a really good experience, highly recommended.

I have been on multiple charters and this was the best one ever. BrianWas on time and readyKnew the watersWas keen on changing baitWas informative on the areaDidn’t watch the clock. After 8 hours of hauling in 10 sturgeon my white flag was waving but we kept lines in the water. Because they were biting and that’s what we came out to do!Don’t hesitate sign up with this company!

Poachers. Recently bragged about not having or needing fishing licenses on the gofishbc page on Instagram. They deleted the comment but I have screen caps for this ‘lawyer’ they talk about. Disgusting practice to take from the river for profit with out contributing to conservation through purchasing licenses.Edit after owner response:The screen cap and a link to your site have been forwarded to your local CO office. Take it up with them.I’ll add the pics of their tickets from previous poaching and the owners anti government rant stating how he doesn’t need licenses to fish. Tell me I’m a liar now buddy. Remember, these are screen caps of public posts made by the company. Be smart, book a charter with a respectable company.

This was a awesome trip, Brian was a great host and guide. Got us on the fish within a hour of starting to fish. Hooked 3 great ones first day but on our second day hooked a awesome 8 footer. I would highly recommend Brian and Silversides Fishing
