For a skating rink it's exactly what you would expect and the woman was friendly. Great place for field trips.

She's an old barn, visiting heat doesn't work, poor sight line for watching the game. The rink does have good ice.

Very unpleasant experience. Came on a Tuesday around 4pm, and the place was packed. There doesn’t seem to be a limit to how many skaters can go on the ice, in this small ice rink. On top of that, COVID mask protocols weren’t enforced. There were about 10 adults not wearing a mask + chatting while skating (in addition to all the “little” kids), while the staff just skated around. COVID outbreak waiting to happen. The front desk woman was also extremely rude! I asked if she can check my Onecard balance, and she yelled “next time”.

Came here for public skate. I found women's rental skates are newer this time, and less crowded compared to Hillcrest.

The arena is incredibly well-maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The playing surface was in great condition. All in all, I would highly recommend the Sunset Hockey Arena in Vancouver to anyone looking for a great place to play some hockey!

For $6.66 plus skates rental, the deal was awesome. Comes with 2hrs and 15 mins of intermission. Watch out for a few show-offs showing their prowess!

Rink looks the same as 30 years ago! Functional. Good for public skate.
