Faj Medical Clinic (Family practice and Walk in Clinic)

I had a really good experience at this clinic. Starting with the receptionist to meeting the doctor, everything went smoothly. I'm not sure why there are so many angry negative reviews but I received the adequate patient care from Dr fajimi for my back problem. He was kind enough to follow up with me and let me know that my x-ray report was clear and there was nothing to worry about.

There is a reason this clinic always has walk-in appointments available. So if you're wondering if it's too good to be true you would be correct. I'm sure Dr. Fajimi is medically qualified but he lacks so much respect to the point where you forget that he underwent so much schooling to better the lives of people. Even more embarrassing that they take the time to defend themselves among these reviews. After reading the negative reviews I thought there is no way he could be that bad. Boy was I wrong. Do yourself a favour and go to a different doctor. Unless you want to be disrespected, then go here.

Always a great experience with Dr. Faj! Helped me tremendously with my recovery from ACL reconstruction years ago and he's been my go-to since. I love his no-nonsense, direct approach to my concerns and questions. I always feel confident and at ease attending this clinic because I know my needs will be met and concerns addressed by a knowledgeable, capable and awesome Doctor!

I really love the service provided and the way the doctor treats his patients. He is a very friendly person who doesn’t mind making jokes with you yo keep you calm . The only reason I am giving a 4 star is because of his receptionist she is very rude. She is not respond to you while your standing at the sliding door for a 15 min break she just looks and walk away . I been a patient there since it opened and the fact she looked at me and looked away and later walked away from her desk was really disappointing. She is a big reason I go to other clinic now . The doctor is amazing .most of the people mad at him with negative reviews are looking to get prescriptions that he is not just going to give them without the right reasons . He is very strict when it comes to that stuff because he is protecting his business. And also looking after the community.

Got sick during vacation, called clinic to get appointment. It was very nice that they didn't push me to come to clinic as I didn't feel good, so I had phone appointment with doctor Akinsiku. She was very nice, appointment was short but she provided all info and sent prescription to my pharmacy. Unfortunately I needed to get another appointment as situation worsened lately, again they were very kind to let me get phone appointment. My husband also used help of this clinic and was always satisfied.

I was really hopeful when I found that there was a new female family doctor accepting new patients here, but the few experiences Ive had here were really negative. The female doctor was kind enough, but I didnt feel like she really followed up with me and I didnt feel like she cared much about helping with my primary issue. The receptionist was aways rude and miserable. She also mispelled my name, entered the wrong phone number and address for me twice and made me take my shoes off and wear plastic booties in the office, which I found ridiculous. The whole place reeks of negative energy. Im absolutely ecstatic I found a better family doctor in a nicer, more professional clinic.

I was sadly turned away due to the doctor claiming he doesn’t check patients as walk in. I wanted to get blood work checked as I felt my urine was more foamy than usual, as well as it being over a year on my routine check up on overall health. Since I did extreme dieting in the past I have the same check up year after year , same requisition form. He chose to not give me any medial advice and turned me away as soon as I came in and told him. I am heavily tattooed and not sure if it was discrimination but it sure seemed like it.He never even chose to look into my past on their medical history.Anyways I would never advise anyone to go here and would suggest higher levels of customer care.

Never had to post a review but this is important. I should have read reviews before going in, I would not have subjected myself to that embarrassment. All 1 star reviews I see are confirmation of what my experience was. Please learn to be polite and helpful to your patients, new or old. Communication and patience are very important skills for doctors from what I understand. Dr Faj does not have any. From the beginning of the consultation to the end, I could only feel the rudeness, callousness and snobbishness that filled the room. Happy it happened only for a minor issue as I would have been distraught if it was an emergency and I was treated that way.

Dr. Faj was incredibly rude. I told him I hit my hand on a surface and proceeded to ask me a million questions without letting me finish. The way he asked these questions were rushed and made the patient feel dumb. After he provided me an x-ray requisition, he did not give me any after care or if it was okay if I could still do my regular exercises with an injured finger. If my family doctor wasn’t closed on Sunday I would have never went to this place.I’m reading all the comments and negative reviews and they 100% deserve them. Do not waste your time going to this clinic!Update: Also, this clinic responses does not even address their issues. They only accuse and put blame on the patients rather than taking accountability for their poor behavior. Worst clinic in the city.

I have never given a walk-in clinic they five star review as they usually don't deserve one. But this time I had very great service from this clinic. Reception and doctors were quite respectful and I got my prescription very quickly. Clinic was clean and newly renovated. I only waited for about 30 minutes, which I think was pretty fast considering it was a Sunday afternoon. It was a great alternative when you need a prescription filled right away!
