eFresh Meals

Inconsistent quality of food, I found the food bland more often than not. My one recommendation to eFresh is to stop using such thin plastic to seal your meals and focus on QA.This is my experience with eFresh as a person who lives rurally in north Durham.- Saturday Sept 11 2021, I still had not received the order usually received on Thursdays. They said they would refund within 24 hours on the 12th (Support Case#934 order#EFRESH20451). I have yet to receive the refund today Oct 26, 2021.- Monday the 13th, I received the expected warm and smelly spoiled box from above.- Tuesday the 14th, I received another mystery box, which was also discarded because the food was not cold. They didn't respond to my message about what the order was and when the food was packaged.- Thursday the 16th, I got a totally normal box on from Order#EFRESH20687. Several exploded meals again.- Friday the 17th, I skipped all future boxes and filled out the cancellation form. I really wanted to like the service, so I wrote a long and thought out explanation. Continued silence from eFresh.- Over a month later, today October 26, 2021, a new box came in (pictured below). It contained 5 exploded meals, 2 unsealed meals, and 3 OK Meals. Logged into account to see it is not cancelled and processed the cancellation again. I was charged for this meal.I have no proof that I cancelled back in September as I did not receive an email so perhaps there was an issue with the cancellation form. Perhaps the form timed out so they never received it. However, I'm pretty sure I logged in to check it. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe that's the case in this mishap. At this point, between the lack of refund on the prior case, the lack of responses, and the mystery box, I'm starting to think otherwise.I will be calling Visa to block any future transactions, just in case. I will also be reaching out to support with a new case to help give them an opportunity to respond to this mishap.UPDATE: They responded saying they're happy to refund the boxes we couldn't eat. Will update again when I actually see the refund.Update 11/29: Still don't have my refund.

I have ordered a Gift card for my family to use and wanted to share with you the great experience they have had including eFresh individual chef-made meals in her weight watchers plan.The customer service was fantastic as well. They went over and above and were able to get information about the ingredients for me which she could use for Weight Watchers. If you are looking for a meal service with good tasting meals that can be included in a healthy eating plan I highly recommend eFresh.

I've tried a bunch of meal plans over last 2 years. These guys are really good. eFresh is the answer to Nutritions Solution of US. I'm always surprised with how fresh their meals are...their customer service is A+ and have never disappointed me. They always make sure to give me a coupon here and there to help me save some money with plans.It's the best thing to come out for someone who is looking lose weight + built muscle. eFresh meal plan with a long term workout plan will do wonders to your body.Good meals have changed the game with my health and fitness over last year and I'm very thankful to eFresh meals.

First time trying this prepared meal delivery, here's the conclusion:1. portion is sooo small... is this food for small children? I have to eat 2 in order to make me full a bit. 1 container only has like 400-500 cal, while grown up human body, need at least 2000 cal per day. So, this is a snack rather than just a food.2. taste is soooooo bland, not enough seasoning or sauces use. I ordered 5 meals, unlucky for me, everything really taste bland, I am eating the butter chicken now, and it is just so dry and tasteless, there's not enough sauce to cover most of the rice, it is just white plain rice with some chicken. The spicy chicken grill, all i can taste only salt, salt, salt, bonus point, the chicken also so hard. Trout grill fish in the other hand, has taste, which is burnt, that's something. Chicken coconut lime noodle thai, bland bland bland. They use zucchini for the noodle, and when it heat, all water coming out, while I ate, and the sauce on the side, just taste like vinegar, lime with chili, I can't even taste coconut on it.3. presentation - good container, and packaging, but the food presentation inside it, not great, rather messy because they use the delivery service like UPS to my location.4. Price wise - too expensive for the amount of food5. delivery wise - this is the reason I gave extra star , because it delivery on time.

Outer box was ripped open, as were 2 of the meals inside. We ate the Moroccan Beef Tagine, which looks nothing like the photos. It was dry and bland, the beef was far too well done and it was mostly just couscous. The butter chicken looks alright but since it was open, we will not be eating it.In my opinion, this service is way overpriced for what you receive. It was delivered on time as noted though.

Portion sizes are inconsistent! This is a huge problem to a diabetic that relies on the packaged nutrition information to dose insulin correctly. My wife and I have ordered this service for about 3-4 weeks now, and I was having some fluctuations in my blood sugar that made me think their carbohydrate values were incorrect. This week among the other meals, we got 2 mac n cheese instead of getting just the 1 mac n cheese and 1 shepherds pie we actually ordered. While both of them have the same label listing the same calories, fat, carbs, etc. one is 254g while the other is 427g! That's enough of a difference to seriously cause a problem for a diabetic. The don't list the actual portion size the nutritional assessment is based on, so you're left guessing.We ordered this service to take the guesswork out of carb counting... so much for that!Contacting them via the web form yields no response.Needless to say i'm cancelling the subscription.I'm giving them an extra star because the food itself is actually quite tasty, and delivery is on time. I just think it's a lot more caloric than they will lead you to believe.

I placed a one time order on December 17th to be Delivered as per their site on December 20th.To Date, December 30th @ 1:45pm, my order has still not been delivered and I am now out of the Country.I have communicated several times with Efresh requesting a refund, they have responded stating it is a courier issue due to Christmas and they will not refund.How could they even think for a moment that this could be lawfully acceptable?I paid for their product which was not delivered..REFUND..DO NOT MAKE EXCUSES. Be wareUPDATE-today Feb 15,2023 and I still have not been refunded..they did not send my order that I paid for in full. They simply do not respond. BEWARE they are SCAMMERS. It’s so disgusting to do this to someone!! BEWARE !!!

Buyer beware!! Food was ordered on Sunday, with a scheduled next-day delivery. Did not arrive all week. After leaving messages, the company called back and said there were major traffic delays"

Ordered 2 weeks of meals to try out and will not order again. Food wasn’t horrible but every meal contains carrots as veggies and they are very “off” in taste. Meal variety is quite limited so they need to work on having more options rather than the same meals every week.Also the way meals are shipped within BC needs improvement. Package was with courier for almost 24 hours and only 2 cold packs in the box so food not properly packed to ensure food is safe to eat. The packs were chilled only and just on the upper meals so most of the food was not kept properly chilled. Overall, the meals are only ok and not what I’d consider tasty and length of time food is with courier and not kept consistently cold is a food safety concern.

I love the gift card idea to send. I heard from my sister and mother how delighted they were with the service, food quality, and variety of meals for their health needs. And yes, even though it is fresh food and a lot of it, eFresh was able to meet her needs for her weight loss program. The customer service was fantastic and helpful, the food was great, and my mom was able to get advice on what to do with it! I can't recommend this company enough.
