Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

The staff at this location were absolutely wonderful. We had come in previously and grabbed some paint swatches, so knew exactly what we wanted, and they were more than helpful getting us our cans for the nursery we are painting. It was a short wait for all 5 colours to be mixed, probably 20mins tops. The man even helped us bring everything out to the vehicle, and we had a lovely chat about our love for art and painting. We will 100% be repeat customers!

This was my third paint shop. I had paint that peeled off within 30 seconds. I was discouraged. So I headed into Sherwin-Williams for the first time.I can't praise the staff (Emily) enough for matching a colour that seemed impossible. Just finished the room and it's exactly what I wanted. Excellent paint, very smooth and user friendly! Big Thank You!! Great customer service.

Several days ago we went into the store to have some paint matched. They said they would work on in and call when ready. A day goes by and no call. After phoning the store we were told that they ran out of blue and working on getting more, again they said we would receive a call when it was ready. Again nothing. After phoning again the woman said she didn't know anything about it and would get right on it. We went in to pick up the paint and it was not mixed. So needless to say we took the paint can that we wanted matched to Cloverdale Paint, where they immediately mixed up the paint. So five stars to Cloverdale Paint and zero to Sherwin Williams. I know where we will be shopping the next time we need paint.when the store was General Paint it was awesome but now...never again.

This place had awful service the staff hates theirs jobs and don’t know how to do their jobs !? Also the dude that helped us had a huge booger hanging out of his nose !?

Not impressed that they buy out a Canadian company (general paint) then stop selling their paints!You Google General paint and it directs you to Sherwin Williams store. False or misleading advertising !Another example of a US company, buying out and closing historic Canadian companies. I will never patronize another Sherwin Williams outlet!

the sales associates were very helpful over the phone to discuss and make suggestions about appropriate preparations and stain selection. They provided colour samples very promptly and the selected stain was provided by the time I arrived at the store for pick up.

Good service from the rep. Store was understaffed early on a Saturday. Solo staff Sarah did a good job of attending to my needs, as well as others lined up.

Altogether a pleasant shopping experience. Excellent service and pricing and helpful associates. I will go there again.

Vernon location must have new owners now. Apparently after dealing with SW Vernon for 6 years, I’m no longer in their system so they can’t tell me the previous colour purchases I had made. To top that off the guy tells me “We don’t sell quart sizes anymore.” What kind of paint store doesn’t sell quarts?!? Well I’m off to HD to get my colour match in a quart size!

I was totally impressed by the young woman (associate) who matched the paint colour I wanted from a swatch I had provided. I had gone to Home Hardware first in Armstrong and they were completely hopeless, a complete waste of time. I'm so happy I stopped in to Sherwin-Williams. I was greeted as soon as I got in the door and they fulfilled my request to perfection....thank you!
