The 101 Brewhouse + Distillery

Tap house with full food menu makes for good stop in for lunch.The bbq platter had the brisket, smoked pork belly, chicken wings, andouille sausage, slaw and corn bread was more than enough to feed 2 and then some to take away. The meats were well done overall, but wish the bbq sauce was left on the side so you can pick and chose when to dip as it was all over the brisket and pork belly. The pork belly was really the burnt ends as it was charcoal black and was masked by the sauce. The andouille sausage had a pleasant kick to it in a meatball presentation than the usual links in casing.The brew was the least favourite of all of the Sunshine Coast. The sour was not a sour nor did the mango mimosa come out at all. The Hefeweizen tasted more like a lager than an unfiltered wheat beer. The porter was more like a watered down porter that fell flat.

Food was bland and not worth the $. As soon as the server saw we were not having alcohol she seemed uninterested in providing good service. Atmosphere was grungy and I won’t return. Worst food I’ve had on the coast. Wendy’s is across the street and it would have tasted better.

First time in, very impressed with at least 4 beers between 2.5 and 4.8%,that means 2 is no problem if I need to drive later. Indoor and outdoor seating made for ample room. Lots of menu selections and hand food. I had bruchetta pizza, it was excellent and could be a light 2 person choice. POUTINE was quite good. A friend had thd burger though, it's a $20 item and definitely not a very good value as he said it was average tasting and I think another $4 to get salad /fry split. The burger dropped a star! Service was swell, no highway noise and much libation options. It's a worthy stop, i recommend you give it a shot, or buy one from them!

First time here with a large family group which turned out to be very disappointing. After returning home, the group joke was you know it was bad when everyone is already googling other places to go". Prior to arriving

You guys are the best.Great atmosphere, events are fun, staff super friendly and chatty. Beer, of course, is great. Try the dry rub wings too, delish. Fish tacos slap.Hope I get to see y’all again :)

This place is amazing. The service was the first element to blow is away. The lovely team behind the bar made us feel so appreciated. My better half and I say on the patio, under the tent for a couple hours, as the rain fell around us and the fire kept us cozy. The beers are delicious. We especially liked the blonde ale. We also enjoyed the food truck (Salt and Swine) which is available from Wednesday to Sunday. Great food. Get the corn.101 also serves up delicious coffee made by local Beachcomber Cafe

Excellent food and service, they really went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, and very accommodating for our little one. There are vegan food options, and all the food tasted fresh including delicious fries perfectly seasoned. 5*!!

We were staying overnight in Gibson's and this seemed like the best choice. I think we were right.My wife had the crispy cod pieces and I had the fish tacos. Both were very good. Server was both gracious and eager to hear our suggestions on how to improve the coleslaw - needed some acid like vinegar and lemon.Vibe was a split between a locals bar and a staff party. Everybody seemed welcome to play their own favorite tunes on the sound system. Menu was reduced but server apologized and explained that they were training up new kitchen staff.

I really don’t like writing negative reviews as sometimes it’s just a bad day and it could happen to anyone but this experiencing was so disappointing.The good: the vodka was nice … and the deep fried pickles were good.We sat a table that was super wobbly and the server just watched us fuss with it without offering a hand. Once we got that sorted we looked over the menu which looked fantastic, so many great options so we were excited. Well, the food was likely the worst I’ve had in a long time. All three of us had meals that were not at all what we would describe as nearly good. One of the meals ordered was so off that we sent it back she actually was ill after consuming even that small amount so thank goodness she didn’t have more.Apparently the current chef is leaving so hopefully they can bring up the quality because otherwise I would never recommend anyone go there.I’m sorry that I’ve had to write this and I truly hope it’s a one off.
