Amazing experience! Allan Gales and Mike Daly were great guys to work with! We fell in love with our Silverado but it didn't have running boards on it. As soon as Allan seen that I am very short (4'9) but love my trucks of coarse, he made sure they were installed!! They made me and Joe's experience awesome! As I found myself at the end of my lease and decided to buy out the vehicle the service went from good to horrible. My largest issue is with the service department - I do not trust the service team. I paid for a semi- annual health check inspection. 500KM later I brought in the vehicle for a safety and was told that there was almost $1,400 in repairs that had to be completed. There was only one valid repair in the list as I took it to my trusted mechanic for a second opinion. The agreed upon problem was the ball joint which should have been caught in the previous service where we paid for breaks and an alignment. This valid problem was covered by the extended warranty which our service advisor did not look at before calling us with the quote.When booking an appointment if you pick an early time, they do not look at your car at that time. It takes them all day. What is the sense of booking an appointment time?When I was talking to the person contacting me about the lease I had a long conversation about how I wanted to book it in at a certain time and wait for it. I wanted to take care of the buyout on that day. After being assured that I could take care of everything in one visit, I had to wait an additional TWO weeks for them to fix the issue under warranty.I was told that I HAD to bring the vehicle for them for an end of lease inspection . . . this was a simple safety that I could have taken anywhere but it was made out to be that I had no choice because of the lease to bring it to them. If I was told it was a safety I would have taken it to my mechanic.None of the departments seem to know how the other departments operate and those booking service calls have no idea HOW the service department works. The overall impression of the staff is they don't care if the customer is happy or not. They just want your money and will try and get as much of it as possible from you.The deception, lack of customer service and care and overall department vs department attitude in the whole building is disappointing. Service issues are not the sales departments problem and vice versa. You know a bad experience in one section taints the opinion of everyone as a whole.Two weeks ago when I booked the final appointment to fix the ball joint I asked for them to work on waiving $113.00 fee as I am now in for the cost of two inspections, as well as for the semi annual safety check and work that would have been covered under the warranty if the ball joint was caught 500km ago.Their answer - NO there is nothing we can do for you.Too bad on them because I don't think my ask was unreasonable and it would have gone a long way to save the customer relationship. I will not be leasing another vehicle from this dealership and if you do - at least don't have your vehicle serviced there. You will be very disappointed.

Great smooth experience! Will Clark and Mike Daly were extremely courteous and helpful. Will Clark was our sales representative and he had everything ready for us as we were picking up our new vehicle from out of town. I will be referring family and friends to him.

I went to Mcmaster Chevrolet looking to buy a new truck. They sold me a beautiful 2023 GMC Sierra 1500. As a first time buyer of a new vehicle I was very excited, and everything went so well. Until it didn’t. The salesmen was not very clear on many things. It was my understanding that I was trading in my vehicle and the trade in value went towards the down payment. I was very clear that was my intention. It wasn’t until I went to pick up and pay for the truck that a found out the trade in value did not count towards down payment and I had to pay $1500 out of pocket or re-do the financing. I had to borrow the money from family members leaving me in a deep financial hole for the month. As well, we spoke about features such as tonneau cover, running boards and bed liner. I was very clear these were things I wanted. I got none of them. So I left with a truck. But was drained of every cent I had and didn’t get any of the features I wanted. This left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I will never return to McMaster GMC. I feel I was taken advantage of due to my inexperience. I also feel the salesmen I dealt with was more concerned with securing himself a sale than ensuring customer satisfaction. I would have returned in the coming years to trade in and buy my next truck. But not after this experience. This is not to say McMaster Chevrolet is a bad dealership. They have a huge lot full of hundreds of beautiful vehicles. But be warned, if your not knowledgeable in buying a car or truck. Salesmen are not afraid to exploit that. My recommendation would be take someone with you know knows the business and can tell you when your being pushed or taken advantage of.
