Spicy half chicken dinner was a bit dry but the flavor was top notch! Potatoes were a great side and the garden salad was fresh. I'll be back regularly!

This was our first time trying this place as they have newly opened. We have been waiting excitedly as we heard great things about the Ajax location. All I can say is WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT, the meal was terrible. Got the family combo, the chicken was dry and tasted Iike it was made days ago and went straight from the fridge to a slightly warmed hot table. Yuk. Potatoes tasted terrible, rice was ok. Custard tarts also ok, but again didn't taste fresh, they were missing that nice crispness of the pastry.Again, they are new and I am hoping this was an off experience as there are many good reviews. I will likely try them once more as there are not many options in courtice, but for now I am turned off.

Ordered for my family, everyone liked it and the portions were very good, for just opening I was impressed. Working through start up issues but room to improve would recommend just give them time….

Ordered takeout the other day for Fathers Day, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food! We ordered in advance, and the food was ready for pick-up when we arrived. Everything was still very hot when we brought it home to eat. Great flavours, nice restaurant, decent prices, and the staff were very kind. We will be back again soon!

Chicken was amazing! Hot sauce is definitely a fav. I use to be a customer at the ajax location and I couldn’t be more happy that one is right around the corner from me!

We visited here Friday June 2 around 645 for takeout. Ordered two half chicken dinners.The hot sauce was amazing. Made the chicken super flavourful. Way better than other options in the area. Potatoes and rice also were good.So happy that we have this Portuguese restaurant nearby and it was delicious.Two comments:#1 wish they had homemade tarts.#2 wish they had a full chicken dinner with two sides. Strange we had to order two half chickens.We will be back! Thank you

I have returned to give the chicken another try and can now say the food has greatly improved since my first visit. The chicken was not dry and the sauce was full of flavor. The potatoes were perfect as well as the rice.Will be my go to place going forward.Was looking forward to trying the chicken at this location. I tried it on opening day last Friday and was disappointed. The chicken was very dry potato’s were hard and lacked flavour and the rice was also undercooked. Hopefully it was due to opening pains and will improve with time and more training of personnel. I will wait a few weeks and give them another try.

The mild piri piri isn’t very flavourful. The hot one is better. Potatoes and rice don’t have a lot of flavour either. It was just okay. Chicken was 7/10, a bit dry if it weren’t for the sauce. I miss Nando’s!
