Last night we were treated to an amazing four hour, five course meal at Prime Seafood (cold seafood, warm seafood, appetizers, mains, dessert) enjoyed family style amongst the five of us. The dishes were all delicious, unique and memorable. We were happy to take in a few bottles of wine and pay the $75 corkage fee. The somm, Jing, was very attentive and helpful. The total bill came to $350 per person all-in so it’s definitely expensive but you get what you pay for. I would place Prime in the highest echelon of Toronto restaurants for its incredible menu, ambiance, decor and top notch service and wine culture.Favourite things: crab, uni toast, lobster spaghetti, espresso, Mark Thomas stemware

Im visiting from California and I still find this place ridiculously overpriced lol.Service is average. We tried to ask for a sommelier for recommendations. But our server couldn’t locate one. We didn’t want her to feel awkward so we said she (our server) could recommend something basic. The dishes were introduced and explained with details, which is nice.Overall the taste of food is decent (except for the shrimp, could absolutely avoid it). And bread service like this is supposed to be served free prior to the meal in my opinion. Lobster pasta (the portion is tiny tho) and the prime rib are worth trying.

I try to make justice to the restaurant and service. First of all very expensive menu that does not convey the name of restaurant. You cannot be named Prime Seafood Palace and then have very little seafood choices. The only plate that I enjoyed was Halibut. The service even if it was kind and respectful was not up to standards. You cannot bring wine to the table and take it back to fridge to keep it cold. You cannot we’ve red wine while your white wine for appetizer round is not yet finished. You cannot take wine glasses while there is still wine to serve ! I think of the restaurant a hype more than a place to go multiple times. Sorry.

I decided to try out Prime Seafood Palace on recommendation from my sister for a special occasion. The restaurant is a beautiful japandi-style aesthetic and has a pleasant aroma (I want to say palo santo, but more likely to be maple since we were told the entire restaurant is maple with bronze accents). For food we ordered:Sea urchin, tuna, toast with the caviar add on: extremely underwhelming. There wasn’t anything special about this. It’s hard to describe it because it really wasn’t memorable. The uni wasn’t amazing (you can buy an entire tray of higher grade uni elsewhere for less), and the other ingredients were just there. The toast wasn’t that crispy so it didn’t offer much in terms of food texture.Lobster and spaghetti: it was good. The server told us that “it was more lobster than spaghetti”. I disagree. There really wasn’t much lobster. Flavour-wise it was okay, but it was, once again, not mind blowing. I can’t say that it was prepared any better than other cheaper restaurants.12 oz prime rib: I would say this was probably the most disappointing dish of the meal. It wasn’t bad…but to be blunt, I’ve had prime rib at buffets that were better than this.Palace potatoes: these were great. Very tasty. The aioli was nice. But, in the end, they’re just potatoes.Overall, it was a very average dining experience, and it wouldn’t be a place I’d recommend. There are better seafood and steak restaurants in the city.

Not a peacock from the outside... You'll have to trust the address to know you're at the correct place, but like all good things that have real greatness the good stuff is on the inside. Amazing woodwork surrounds you in this warm welcoming dining room that you drop into. It feels like you're descending into a beautiful yacht. A beautiful visual appetizer to whet your satisfaction for what's next to come. The talented staff are very welcoming and quick to enter into conversation about the restaurant, the chef and the food.We ordered way, way too much and eagerly attacked all of it with glee and rapture. This is a must visit treat! Enjoy.

Overall worth a try! The ambience is amazing, surprisingly enjoyed the carrot tart the most (sweet and tangy with a buttery tart). Would go back to try and different cut of beef-can skip the prime rib roast. Can skip on the dessert was a bit too sweet for my liking.

Dishes of multiple influences prepared and presented with dexterity and class. The crudo, coppa, palace bacon and halibut with the fish eggs (I would cook it 30 seconds less) were great. We also tried the molasse, palace potatoes and filet mignon. The rich cow brie cheese tart with maple syrup was decadent! Not your typical restaurant, not your typical price but worth trying.

One of those places that is unique and with a really unique interior. You enter through the side door not the front door. When entering you greeted so gracefully. I entered and we sat down. We ordered sea Urchin, Tuna, Toast and for the main course Steak Tartare and and Butter Toast and there Palace Potatoes. Everything was done really well and the waiters where truly graceful and nice. They offered us complimentary wine on the side due to certain circumstance out of there control. Truly a pleasant evening.

Amazing food and atmosphere! The Sea Urchin Mille-Feuille (sea urchin on artisanal toast) and Palace Bacon were exceptional starters. The 20oz Palace Cut prime rib roast melted in the mouth. Relatively pricey but the serving sizes are large.
