Our company tried many different mechanical companies for our residential and commercial buildings. Unfortunately, none of them were performing to our satisfaction. Whether it was a lack of communication or competence, the different Building Managers and myself were left wondering if the work was performed to our satisfaction and because of our lack of knowledge in the area, had to rely on the fact that the equipment was working or not. We had some challenges in some buildings, too hot or too cold, units working intermittently, etc.Then, over 3 years ago, we started dealing with Haakon and what a difference it made for us. Their pro active approach is refreshing and prevents dealing with emergencies at inopportune times. Their technology allows me to look at any of our buildings to see the work that needs to be performed and when as well as the cost involved. I can also see the work that is ongoing as well as all the work that was done in the past. It is a great tool for myself and all the Building Managers. Their technicians are respectful and knowledgeable. Unlike other companies, they are empowered to quote on the spot and follow up directly with us (as opposed to going back to the office and have an office work reach out).Haakon is also very collaborative and we sit down on a yearly basis before budget time so we know what to expect in the coming year and budget accordingly.Overall, we have been very happy with their services and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Have to be honest. I don't know Haakon Mech. What I can tell you is they are not open on Sunday, but they have a huge parking lot out front of their building. In front of their parking lot they have sitting benches and picnic tables. These are right across from the Frazer river... one of our favourite places to sit and paint or just watch the river go by.Thank you to Haakon for supplying such a quiet lovely place to spend time with my daughter, on a Sunday afternoon.

An absolutely incredible company. Their staff are so very professional and knowledgeable. Just downright friendly and good people. Over the last few years they've helped us out of some difficult situations, very quickly when we needed help. We definitely breath a sigh of relief when we see their trucks pull up outside. I work with Haakon as one of our Main service providers, they have always been amazing to deal with . The techs arrive on time , they are kind and the back of house and admin side are as great as the front end tech side. I fully recommend these guys for any service you need or PM you are planning on implementing . They have an awesome On-call / emergency response program as well . 10/10 would recommend.

Haakon replaced and installed 8 rooftop supply air fans and electric duct heaters to both our Strata buildings. The removal of old and installation of new was completed without a hitch and absolutely no mess. Communications and scheduling were amazing. I dealt mostly with Allison (amazing communicator), Adama & Kevin - but the entire teams were excellent. We have no hesitation r recommending Haakon. Our A/C system in our administration offices had been out of service for over 2 weeks. Once we placed the call with the friendly service staff at Haakon our technician came to our office at the promised time and was able to quickly and efficiently diagnose the problem. We had our A/C system back up and running shortly thereafter.
