Open for 23 years at the time of writing, Cactus Jacks has become a pillar of the community, and is possibly the best traditional styled barber in Rocky.Cuts cost $20 even, including tax. There is often a wait; but the owner moves through customers quickly and there is no shortage of things to keep you occupied, including a play area for kids, so the whole family can come in!Filled with Curios, old newspapers, pictures, and signs, Cactus Jacks may be a better place to learn local 'recent' history than the museum. With the inviting atmosphere, and sharp dialogue between patrons, Cactus Jacks is most certainly a better source than the local newspaper to pick up on whats going on around town, as he sparks up and encourages conversations between patrons, in an often raw, but honest, and caring sort of way.Cactus Jacks is also the local source for panning supplies! So if you need a fresh cut, dont mind some great conversation, or are looking to get into (or resupply) gold panning, Cactus jacks IS the place to go in Rocky.

A great atmosphere and perfect cuts every time!

A very nice barbershop with a lively barber! Took my son for a haircut, and he made sure to properly give what my son wanted. My son loved his haircut in the end, and was happy with what he got. Typical barbershops we go to tend to cut his hair too much, and would probably be a few trims away from being a buzz cut! Overall, love this place. 10/10.

My nephew got his hair cut here and the service is great, entertainment was excellent,( thanks to Jack, lol) the haircut was awesome. He has a loyal customer, thanks.

So I am not from Rocky, but I went to Cactus Jacks. The owner/stylist was talented, chatty if you want to be. His prices were fine $20 plus beer money aha . If you need or want a haircut and can wait go here.

Cactus Jack is a great barber. I went in for a short hairstyle and was happy to pay half of what salons usually charge women. Service was quick - he saw me 10 minutes after I called to make an appointment. I was very happy with the service I got!

I recently visited Cactus Jacks for a haircut, and I'm so glad I did! The price was the best in the area, and I was very satisfied with the quality of the haircut. The barber was very conversational, lively, and humorous, which made the experience very enjoyable. Cactus Jacks is a hidden gem in the community - there are no appointments, but I never mind waiting here! I highly recommend The Cactus Jacks for a great haircut and an entertaining conversation.
