I cannot say enough great things about Maela's Esthetics!!As soon as you walk into her prime downtown location you're greeted by her beautiful, smiling face, fun décor and professional atmosphere.I booked in for Powder brows (though she offers a TON of services).The salon is so clean, i felt at ease immediately. Maela guided me through the procedure and listened to what i had to say. She is so unbelievably talented at what she does.I am SOOOO HAPPY with my eyebrows and anyone who asks, I will always happily refer them to Maela. I finally have the brows I've always wanted without having to spend 20 minutes filling them in everyday. GAME CHANGER!I will forever be a client. Thank you!

Maela is one of the best estheticians we are so lucky to have in Vernon! She has been microblading my eyebrows for years and I never stop getting compliments on them everywhere I go! Maela stays up to date with products and techniques, she is super affordable for her talent, she is happy and bubbly all the time, yet super professional! I wish I could give her 10 stars because she truly deserves it! Girl....keep on rocking it! You are simply the best and we are lucky to have you in Vernon!

Amazing, high quality, professional service!!I went to Maela for waxing and am blown away by so many things: how fast the service was and was by far the best, and most thorough, waxing I have had. Maela made me feel at ease and was very non-judgmental. It was nice making small talk during the appointment too. I highly recommend her to others!!

I recently relocated to Vernon and selected Maela’s based off her good reviews. While I’m sure she does good work, her lack of flexibility and sympathy for her patients is lacking.I should have gone with my gut and found a different esthetician when I was asked for a deposit for my appointment. I was asked to send a deposit over e-transfer and when I asked for a receipt I was ghosted.

When I tried to book a lash appointment I was told I needed to pay a $100.00 non refundable deposit. No salon in my entire life has ever asked for this. When I asked about a cancellation policy to allow for travel mishaps for example where road conditions may affect my arrival, I was met with mega attitude and even the suggestion I shouldn’t book because I would need to come back for a lash fill in two weeks and if that would be a problem I would be out of luck as well. I was told if I missed my appointment for ANY reason there wouldn’t be a refund. Gosh, seems I dodged a bullet there.

I had wanted for so long to do powder tattoo for my eyebrows. I looked at many sites and after chatting with Maela over messenger I chose her. She was not only super professional and informative about the whole process - but super fun! She made me at ease from the minute I walked in. I couldn’t be happier with the results , they healed perfectly. I will definitely be back for more services she offers!

I booked with Maela after a few bad experiences at other salon’s in Vernon. From the beginning Maela was accommodating and professional. She is a master of her trade! I highly recommend her. Her pricing is very reasonable as well, which is an absolute bonus.Best Brazilian Ever!
