Cabot Coast

We were in the lovely Cliff Cottage. Well equipped, spotless and inviting. A lovely private, romantic space and enjoyed the our private viewing deck overlooking the ocean, and the harvesting of lobsters off shore. Magical. Just a few kilometers to the outstanding Woodroad restaurant. Perfect location.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in The Lighthouse this past weekend. The cottage was cozy and spotless and the view was spectacular. The complimentary bottle of wine was a perfect touch. We spent some time on the private cove while taking in the breathtaking view, we will definitely be back.

My mother and I stayed in the Cliff cottage and to say we were impressed would be an understatement! We arrived to the roaring of the ocean the night we got there, and hadn’t realized how close the cottage was to the waterfront until we woke up the next morning. In addition to an incredible view, lovely wood stove and private space, Jordan and Stacey were wonderful. They were sure to check in on us during our stay, and were kind enough to leave us wine and wood for our first night incase we wanted to start a fire where we were arriving quite late. Though little cellphone service, we found this perfect as it gave us the opportunity to shut off from the world a bit during our thanksgiving getaway. Fantastic space well in the middle of the most beautiful parts of the island. We will most definitely be back again!

Our stay in the Octagon was spectacular- the views are stunning and the location is great for exploring the Cabot trail and surrounding area. After long days of hiking in Cape Breton National Park we were able to come back and cozy up with a glass of wine on front of the wood stove. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners.The Octagon’s architecture is worth a stay in itself- really neat observation deck at the top and great views from all sides! We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Cape Breton!

We stayed at the Observatory 2 nights ago and all I can say is Oh My Goodness! The accommodation was spotless, the views are mind blowing and you're in your own little private area with you're own private viewing deck right on the cliff's edge. You certainly cannot go wrong at the Cabot Coast!

Stayed at the Octagon cottage and it was simply beautiful. The cottage was amazing, private and the views were stunning from inside and outside. We took advantage of the hot tub right outside the bedroom and took an afternoon spending time in the sauna ( highly recommended) and then took a dip in the ocean. The weather cooperated so we could sit outside enjoy the views of the cliffs and drink wine( thanks for the complimentary Jost Wine) along with the sound of the ocean on the rocks. On our last night we were able to use the wood stove inside while listening to winds outside. A great stay and will definitely be back … highly recommend.

We stayed at Cabot coast just last weekend and had a great experience! The Observatory cottage was very clean and cozy, Stacey was a great host to say the least!This cottage was secluded with a great view and the hot tub was a cherry on top, we did book the sauna as well but it was a very windy rainy day so we opted out but did walk down to check it out and wow so much effort and detail put into it, we were upset the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy it.. next time for sure!We got engaged during our stay and I’m excited to come back, I would and have already recommended this place to everyone we know :)So looking forward to what they have in the works for this place.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at the lighthouse cottage. The cottage was very unique and charming. Really glad we tried the sauna as this was such a special part of our trip! The property offers gorgeous sunsets in a private location and is reasonable driving distance from Cabot trail views and hikes. The staff were so accommodating and really went above and beyond. The most stunning views in Cape Breton! The cabin was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our anniversary weekend. We cooked all our meals at home and enjoyed breathtaking views from the cabin. The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom had views of the forest, making it very unique and cozy. There was a fire stove with and plenty of firewood, making it ever more romantic for us to enjoy the space. There is a hot tub in the courtyard. It was an absolute 12 out of 10 stay. We will be back again soon!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay because they cancelled my reservation made 5 months prior due to restructuring their business model". While I'm sure the property is lovely
