King Street Towers - Tower 2

Absolutely the worst building you can live at if you go to Laurier. They didn’t fix my air conditioner for over a month during a heat wave and denied any compensation. They advised us to keep our door unlocked so they can clean while we were away and didn’t lock the door when they were finished. It doesn’t seem like the building is here for you when you need them. I would advise choosing any other alternative living arrangements if you want to live near campus. The amount you are paying for the space and customer service you get is NOT WORTH IT

Great amenities, awesome staff, super efficient servicing, and overall one of the best places to rent as a student in waterloo. Couldn't be happier with my current living situation.

Currently a second year student living at king street towers. Management is always available and friendly, and the rooms are perfect in terms of both size and amenities. I’d recommend that any student looking for housing consider living here.

Currently in my last year of university and living in Tower 1! King Street Towers has got to be the best off campus housing that I have ever lived at. There are tons of amenities, easy access to buses and the schools, and the apartment itself is very spacious and roomy. Really have enjoyed my time here so far!

Good place to live, close to campus. Sometimes the facilities (elevators, washer/dryer) will be out of order for significant amounts of time. Tower 1 has many more amenities (bigger gym, sauna, movie room, study room, etc) but Tower 2 has access to all of them.

Zero accountability from management. Doesn't deduct the correct rent and then goes on to shift the blame onto the tenant preaching the importance of paying rent when themselves can't do their sole job of withdrawing the correct amount. Not a single apology was offered despite wasting my time and knowing full well that they shoulder the blame. Further goes on to threaten the resident and demanding payment with the removal of the rental discount. Your money is better off spent elsewhere.

Most helpful staff in any student building in KW. Everything is always up to par and adequate. Tristan will fight with his life to ensure your needs may be met. Nothing but excellence, I am extremely happy with my time spent here

This was a wonderful place to live for my last year, by far one of the cleanest and well-organized. Building management was extremely helpful to me and very quick with their response times, the amenities were amazing too. A special shoutout goes to Jana for going above and beyond for helping me out with my lease takeover process!

A good building to live in!! Me and my roommates love it and we have met some of our now close friends which is great. Sometimes it can be hard to get maintenance requests completed and sometimes the laundry machines aren't reliable. Other than that, myself and my roommates have loved living at KST for the past two years!

I’ve been living here for 3 years and the management is the absolute worst. Won’t do anything they don’t want to do, won’t return your calls unless you spam them, won’t even get you a new mailbox key for 2 years until you’ve nagged them a million times. Tore down stuff from our apartments while trying to get plugs out of walls and didn’t even try to fix anything. They are absolutely the worst and I regret ever signing a lease here.The laundry machines don’t work and the dryers will never dry your clothes. The gym is garbage it’s nothing to boast about. They also tried to scam us out of our security deposit at the end of a FOUR YEAR LEASE when we paid the amount in full for last months rent when we moved in in 2020. This place is a capitalist building that doesn’t care about anything other than money. I wouldn’t recommend paying $1000 for all their services and “amenities” that haven’t been easily or openly accessible for the entirety of my lease.I’d give this place a negative rating if I could.
