The Terrace Inn

Had a wonderful time. Host was great the cabins were clean and cozy. The fishing was also great would recommend the Terrace Inn to anyone you won't be disappointed

Thank-You to both Rosa & Alfredo for being the most amazing hosts of their beautiful property! We stayed in the Hilltop" (3- bedroom) which was clean and very well appointed. We loved the rustic cabin feel!The lake was so beautiful to enjoy and there are so many beach toys and a great sandy area for the younger family members to enjoy. We forgot our little guys life jacket

I want to thank Rosa and Alfredo for their excellent hospitality and their friendliness at the the Terrace Inn Cottages We spent the June 2-4 weekend and had a great time. We rented the popular cabin and it had everything that we needed with lots of hot water. On the grounds,there was a big playground for kids with swings etc. There was also a games room with a pool table,foosball table and a tv. We had a wonderful experience. Definitely we will be going back

The terrace in was very nice but the cottage we stayed in was so small for a 3 bedroom.There was no living room, just a table in the kitchen which was very tight, and the land sloped downhill from the front door to the fire pit. The resort itself was very nice and the owners were absolutely amazing and nice .the other cottages were on more level ground

My party just came back from Terrance Inn (July 2020). Experience was great - my group and I have rented approx 8 cottages so far ranging from $1-2M+ cottages to 1 bedroom cabins and have to say.....it's all about the outdoors and swimming that counts and this place has it.Pros:1) Lake is great for swimming (especially with young children)2) There are several types of watercraft to rent and plenty of outdoor activities3) The town is very close - so running out to grab some food/beer should only take you 15 minutes (round trip)4) The cottages have all your basic amenities - if you need anything specific, you should contact the owner in advance.5) The views are great and the lake is a few steps away from each cabin.Suggestions / Tips1) If you are travelling with a large family (i.e. multiple kids) book the 3 bedroom or two cabins side by side. Some of the reviews complained about the space but that is something that can be addressed with the right planning.2) This wasn't a huge problem for me, but the property is rather close to the main road so if you have trouble sleeping at night, book a cabin that is closer to the owners house.3) If you're not into barbecuing and cook primarily with the stove, you may want to bring a few additional pots/pans.Enjoy

We had an awesome time Aug 2-5, 2019. We stayed in the Poplar 2bd cabin. It was very cozy and clean. My 2yr old son loved the little beach area and the park they have in the back. We enjoyed playing pool in the rec room. Its great for families. Also great for people interested in rockhounding orgeocaching. Rosa was so kind and attentive to our needs. We will be coming back soon❤

I had such an amazing time last year at this place that I had to go back again this year just to relive all the amazing experiences that happened here. It was a nice place with a peaceful atmosphere and it had many scenic views of the lake and all of the nature surrounding it!!!!

Amazing vacation spot, great service! If you are looking to disconnect this is the place to go!! Spent a week there, was exactly what the family needed.

My family and I rented a cottage from here recently, we were very unsatisfied with everything! The money they make, they should update the cottages a little better. The beds are super uncomfortable. There is little to no privacy here. The owners Rosa and her family are constantly watching your every move.. your not allowed to use any of the water floaters, as they are strictly for the owners family to use. You have to pay extra to use the paddle boat, kayak. The fishing is not good. So I don’t know where these people are getting all this good info. It must be family or friends of the owners.The beach in front of the cottages you mine as well rent a motel, and go to a local beach. As the owners and their family take over everything down there. It’s not relaxing, I don’t recommend more then 2 adults and 1 child in the cabins. They are super small, and no air conditioning. They should put small ACs in each cabin. Way too hot to even relax.The games room is mostly locked all day long for the kids.really not worth your money to stay here. This was our first and last time we ever go there again.. If you have pets don’t even bring them, no room and the owners watch you like your going to destroy everything. Cabins are soo close together! Don’t waste your money going here.Rosa and her husband are very ignorant rude people!!!

My family stayed at the Terrace Inn in August 2018 for a week in the hilltop cottage. We had a great week there and it exceeded expectations. It was clean and the kids enjoyed the beach, boats, playground and our own little site. The hilltop is quite private since it’s the farthest from the beach and we liked that. The common space is not large but the master bedroom is very spacious. It was clean and well kept. The owners were friendly and open to all questions during our stay. After we left (one week later!) my daughter discovered she left her iPad at the cottage. The owners went above and beyond to locate it and then brought it with them to Toronto where we could easily pick it up. So appreciated!
