Ordered several items from the menus. All were well prepared, seasoned and large portions.The customer service was exceptional. The lovely lady serving was very friendly and accommodatingI would highly recommend visiting

I go in with my boyfriend often and I’m not sure who the lady is but she’s serving the food and she is always so happy big big smile on her face you can really tell she loves her job!

Nothing unique about the curry goat, it was pretty flavorless. The rice and peas was not good, really sticky and dry. For 10 people in line, it's about a 20 minute wait. The only pricing in there is for ox tail, but nothing else. Couldn't understand that. This place Is not for me. Lloyds across the street offers more flavour and better portions.

I love the food most of the time. It’s always consistent.I have to edit my post because the service has gotten bad and travel from peel to buy the food. Prices are good but the customer service has gone down. I was told I asked for rice and peas when I knew I asked for white rice. Sometimes I go to Jerk Box 3 times in a week and buy a minimum of 3 dinners each time. My daughter had a piece of a barcode in her rice. Pictures are below. The lady serving my food wore slippers, I noticed it when she walked to the back of the restaurant. I have only seen one employee wear a hair net every time I visit and she seems to be one of the nicest employees working there. The wait times at lunch can be extremely long with only one person serving at times.

I would give the food a 4/5 however I'm rating with my last visit in mind, hence the 3/5. I tried their fried rice and it was horrible ( one of the staff recommended I get it). It tasted spoiled and just nasty. Apart from that, they have a very good selection and good food. Their fry chicken is everything , I loooove their rice and peas as well ( that's normally my go to, I'm not sure why I allowed the staff to convince me to try that taste bad fry rice ( fry rice cousin). Their food is reasonably priced too.

Ordered the small jerk chicken with rice and peas which included a pop/water. Solid jerk chicken and got the oxtail gravy over the rice which was delicious! This place was busy after 1pm and the parking lot is really small. We parked one block south of Lawrence on the street and walked over.Would recommend and come back.

Terrible customer service. Once you can actually find parking. You walk in to drug dealers doing transactions right in the open. People try to cut in line and if you’re anything other than black you gotta wait. Bathroom hasn’t been working for over 2 years. One lady even asked what I wanted. Then just walked away after without even helping me. Food is 4/10. Will never return here again
