Enigma Escapes

Very fun. Five of us did the VooDoo one. Puzzles were difficult but not insane and assistance is available if you ask (though you can also tell them no hints). Small jump scares but nothing actually scary (in this scenario). We finished it with 12 minutes to spare so it was hard and fun enough to be worth it.

Quite disappointed. Themed room of ancient red queen, sounded awesome, and was decorated really well, but ended up being a mess of abstract clues, and even after being shown the answer to the clues we were stuck on, most people in the group didn’t get it or understand it. Our game master was very slow to give us clues or hints, even as members of our group tried things over and over again, and asked for hints, She also didn’t offer us any extra time or even want to show us the cool ending props. Disappointing considering we all wanted to explore more and no toil over long drawn out clues just to open yet another lock. 60 minutes to open so many locks just seems like a race and not a good pace for an enjoyable afternoon.

We did Voodoo Island, the theme of it was great and well decorated. but what ruined the experience is the game master. Clues were so vague. No sound effects especially if a door or chest opens so you’re there wondering what to do next. We got stuck on a few puzzles and ask for a hint numerous times but was simply ignored. To the point where it no longer was fun. Game master took a long time to type the clue. We’ve been to numerous escape rooms and this is by far the worst experience we ever had!

Not a great experience. If you're used to The Real Escape Canada, this escape room experience is definitely a tier down in terms of polish, presentation and cleverness. We did the Voodoo room and were able to escape in about 45 minutes, however that was without solving three puzzles (somehow) and being given hints on the in-room screen that assumed we had already solved other puzzles before we had (i.e. the hints did not make sense). In the end, I suppose if you've never been to an escape room before this would be a decent solution, however if you're used to the experience and expect a certain level of quality you'll notice this offering is lacking. I hope they clean things up and improve their overall presentation somewhat, because it's a great location and there's some potential here....but it's not there yet.

it wasn’t the best one honestly. The voodoo island room the lock wouldn’t open even though the person watching us said we did the code right. She came in and helped us open it and gave us 5 extra minutes. But we couldn’t finish. We went to get out! Escape room and we had so much more fun

Went with a group of 8 to the Queen escape room. Great puzzles and enough for everyone to jump in and figure it out. Made it out with under 2min left. Birthday party started off great here. Thank you

Drove 25 minutes to this location, only to arrive and find out there was technical difficulties" with our room. Waited another 15 minutes past our start time

We did the Red Queen room for a bachelorette party of 9 and had a great time! Our game master, Emma I believe, was super friendly and helpful. She really made the experience fun. The room itself was great too, with enough puzzles for our large party to divide and conquer. Would visit again!

Room could use more maintenance. Hints were provided without asking. It was strange to have to remove our shoes. Friendly staff.

Over-all was fun, puzzles were good. I enjoyed my time. Will do another room there for sure. 4* because one of the locks in the room wouldn't open, even for the game master, so that was a little annoying. Couple of pieces of garbage left over from other people that made things a little confusing.
