Beautifully plated, delicious food. The ambience was well thought out. We went for family dinner, I think next time we will leave the kids and just have a delicious date night out.

I had the same experience yesterday on Valentines Day as the most recent reviewer Julie. They had a limited menu and there was no mention of this on OpenTable or on their website. Spent $330 after tip (service was fast to be fair) but could have spent the same at a much fancier restaurant with higher quality food. We also did get a $60 bottle of wine. We both wanted to leave when we saw the price of $100 per person along with the limited menu but didn’t want to be rude. I felt that this was just a cash grab to take advantage of the demand created by Valentines Day. It’s a shame since there are a lot of positive reviews and the normal menu looks amazing, but we won’t be returning due to this one bad experience. Hope this review encourages management to rethink their strategy for Valentine’s Day next year.

Our experience here was a bit of a mixed bag and I really wanted to love the place. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of what seems to be an office plaza. The interior was bright and comfortable. My wife and I had reservations and were promptly seated upon arrival. I would say it was 40% full that evening. Our waiter (whose name escapes me) was great. Very friendly and attentive. He came by several times to check on us throughout the evening. One thing I noted was, as I was going in, I happened to glance in the kitchen and my eyes were drawn to what seemed like broken concrete floor in the kitchen - no tiles. Definitely weird and may have been a turn off if my wife saw it.We ordered the Insalta Arugula and Polenta Fritti. My wife enjoyed the salad and the Polenta Fritti was new to me but I enjoyed it. It was a sizeable portion and quite filling. It came of fresh and hot with a small dip to the side. I found the portion of dip to be too small based on how large the fries were so I couldn't really tell what was in the dip. However I enjoyed the Polenta fries on their own. That coupled with the bread had me worried that I wouldn't be able to enjoy the main. However that was not the case. The place was a little under half full from my estimate but our mains took quite a while to arrive, so filling up on bread and appetizers wasn't an issue afterall. My wife and I had a good conversation so it wasn't so bad but it was definitely a longer than usual wait. Also the online menu is *outdated* and the prices are higher in the restaurant. The online menu really should be updated. I was expecting to pay between $22 - $25 for the mains (based on the online menu) but both our mains were $30 each. Also some dishes are not available and others are new when compared to the online menu.I had the equivalent of an oven roasted half chicken with potatoes - that I don't see listed online - so I don't recall the exact name. My wife had the Linguine Di Mare and it was great that she was able to sub the mussels for calamari. I believe my dish caused the delay because my chicken dish came out piping hot as if it was just made. So that was great and made the wait seem kind of worth it. I liked my dish, the chicken breast was nicely cooked and moist with a nice crispy skin. However the thigh was a little under cooked for my liking and so was the drumstick. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her dish and joked with me that I should have stuck to pasta lol.Overall it was a pleasant evening and I was glad my wife enjoyed it. I was a bit more mixed with my impression. I really want to give it 4 stars but would 3 1/2 stars is more appropriate in my experience for the evening. We may revisit in the future.

Absolutely amazing experience! It was our first time here, and we were celebrating my dad’s birthday. We got platters to share, around 8 people. Restaurant atmosphere was great, not loud so you aren’t yelling to hear one another. The food was SPECTACULAR! The specials were lovely and the menu options were so unique and tasty. There wasn’t a single plate we didn’t enjoy! The staff was so kind and helpful. They even cut up and plated the birthday cake we brought with us. Overall great time, would highly recommend, and definitely coming back!

A local establishment which has been around for some time.I came here with a group of 10 people for dinner. First i noticed the place has been updated a bit and new management.Service here was excellent. From arrival we were seated and served with excellent timing. The atmosphere has been updated from a few years ago but not overly done.Had the salami and cheese board to start. Unfortunately my least favorite dish of the night and I hope they fix it.Fried calamari was beautiful. Crisp and not oily. Served hot and plenty of it for an appetizer. Then we moved to the pasta which was beautiful. Well made and well plated. Not just a hunk of pasta in a bowl. So portions of pasta are normal size for Toronto but not the usual heaping bowl typical of Woodbridge. The steak dinner was made to order. Nice and well seasoned. For dessert I had the Tiramisu which was made in a modern dome and had a bit of gelato on the side. Very impressed.Espresso was spot on.Overall well priced for what we got as a group with everything.Great place for all occasions including family.Happy with the new management. I hope they do well here. Give them a visit if you havent been in a while.@foodreviewca

I recently visited this restaurant to celebrate my new job and had a somewhat disappointing experience. While the servers were friendly, there seemed to be some unresolved conflicts between management and the staff that were evident during my visit. Unfortunately, this resulted in occasional instances of attitude and unnecessary comments amongst them. Although these issues were not directed at any customers, it would have been better if the restaurant had been able to maintain a more professional atmosphere. If you are looking for a tense atmosphere with unresolved tension then this is the place to go!

The atmosphere and services were lovely. The food was fantastic! The only thing that knocked off a star was charging us for water. 14 bucks! That's like a whole other appetizer!

Took the family out for mothers day. Place looked great I like the atmosphere. The food was good but definitely not worth the money you pay. Our entrée were all hit and miss. Our dessert was frozen. I could not believe that in a place that has prices like it does frozen anything is not acceptable at all. If I want frozen ill stay home and eat frozen pizza. As for the wait staff although nice and did their best again for the price you pay you deserve way more.

I went here yesterday for Valentine’s Day excited to have some pizza and calamari. Once we got there, we saw that the menu was limited and expensive. The food was not worth the price. It was $100 per person before tax and tip. It wasn’t mentioned anywhere on their website or OpenTable about the limited menu and prefixed price. Once we got there, before we saw the menu, they offered us water and a complimentary drink where we felt obligated to stay. The service was fast but pushy. I was done my ravioli and my fiancé was still eating his risotto; when the waitress came over and took my plate and looked over at him and said “looks like you are pretty much done,” and took his plate as well. We also got a bottle of wine and spend over $300 on dinner.I was really looking forward to having a good Italian dinner for Valentine’s Day with my fiancé but was a sadly disappointed. All this place cared about was money!!! Never going back! Also, I have noticed that the restaurant doesn’t reply to any of the low star reviews; only the 5 stars. Poor customer services!
