Today, I cried for the first time in my life. That's right; not even being birthed nor broken up with had reduced me to tears, so this was monumental. Why did I weep? Well my wife said I couldn't go back for seconds at Tacomania Food Truck. After I took the first bite of their fried fish taco, my heart melted and I fell in love. Pictured is the taco, and their special today which was their pulled pork (al pastor) on a grilled cheese bun. Absolutely unreal - everything is fresh, and their hot and mild salsas are made in house. They're currently stationed outside of Lowes from 11am - 3pm; definitely check them out.

Really delicious food for a good price. I had the beef and pork taco with Chipotle mayo. Definitely worth many repeats for a quick and filling lunch, plus there's always their fish taco to sample. You should definitely eat here to see what an authentic style taqueria is like.

Tacomania is the food truck in the inside corner of the Lowe's parking lot at Nanaimo North Town Centre. I'm partial to the fish taco with a mild sauce. The truck is open at lunchtime, and I try to get my fish taco early in case they run out. I usually take my taco into the mall where there are tables & chairs in the hallway.

Ordered a fish taco and sadly it was a disappointment. Not seasoned, oily fish and Tex mex cheese. Who puts this on a fish taco? The mango salsa had zero taste also. The other taco was lacking salt as well. I was really looking forward to it and should have googled it ahead of time but the write up swayed me. Hopefully they change it up and season the food better. Good luck Tacomania.

Had the chicken and beef taco. I found both beef and chicken lacking flavor. Toppings were great though! I won't eat here again.

These are the farthest thing you can get from authentic Mexican tacosTheir Birria tacos are just normal beef.It tasted alright for a beef taco but wasn’t actual Birria.Overall disappointing

Sorely disappointed. The fish tacos, which are supposedly their best seller, were horrible. My husband and I couldn't finish them. The two veggie tacos I had were piled with unmelted shredded cheese and almost nothing else inside. Truly awful and do not recommend.
