Awful place. Got some petulant guy named Greg who actually hung up the phone on me after trying to convince to me to go to another company and refusing to book my appointment. Huh?? I guess that's what you get with non-profit." Went to a local place instead and they fixed me right up. I only gave 2 stars because there are other councellors who do not behave like spoiled children. You might get lucky but my advice would be to check you other options first."

I was very impressed with Credit counselling. They do not judge you and offer fantastic suggestions in regards to helping you. I was highly motivated when I left. The other type of company that I had visited prior was judgmental and non helpful. They told me they would not help me, Credit counselling helped in advice that was very impressionable and rewarding to hear.

I was treated with respect, and courtesy. The councilor was sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel at easy while discussing my financial options. He was able to answer all my questions, and gave me valuable information. Anyone in a financial mess needs to talk to these guys ASAP. I drug my feet for months as I didn't want to deal with any of it. These people are professional and know how to help, and can suggest others if they are not able to help you. I office was quiet, clean, and private. No waiting room full of people staring you down because you were there. No one eavesdropping on your conversations. Totally Professional!!!! Check them out!!

I was nervous & hesitant about calling. It was extremely difficult to tell my story but Kristin Wood was very understanding, helpful & even empathetic. She made a very uncomfortable situation a little easier. Her professionalism mixed with human kindness was very appreciated.

I can’t say enough about how great the service was with this organization. We try to consolidate with the banks, even with a co-signer and the banks would not help us. The bank treated us with no empathy for our situation and truthfully we felt embarrassed once we left the bank. We had so many restless nights wondering why we just couldn’t seem to save any money after we paid all the creditors. From the moment we contacted them for help we felt we were dealing with other people who understood us. They treat you like a person and never once will you feel that there is no hope to get out of your situation. They will help you budget, learn to save and gain confidence in your abilities to manage your finances again. Plus you can do everything over the phone and email with them. Trust me your life will change even after your first meeting with a credit counsellor.

So grateful I came across Credit Counselling, entered my information then got a call a day later. Appointment was set and my first interaction with Jheanel was awesome then the next was just as great. I am so looking forward to getting back on track with my finances.

First of all, I felt safe and comfortable when explaining my financial situation. I felt being understood at all times during the meeting.I have now a better understanding of the consequences of my moves when dealing with my creditors.It gives me a lot of comfort knowing that at any time I can reach out to Credit Counselling Society for more advice when my financial situation changes for better or worse..

I had some questions about my credit and both Samantha and Reggie were so helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

I am very pleased with the service I received. I was embarrased and scared to take any action because I was afraid that I would be judged. I wish I would have done this long time ago and recommend anyone going through financial concerns and stress to give them a call and book a session with the counsellors. Its free and it was a true eye opener for me. Don't be ashamed or scared and give them a call. Their follow up is great and the sessions are free. How much sweeter can this get! Thanks for the help and advise.

Right after congratulating me on getting out of debt on they very same phone call, they decided it was the PERFECT opportunity to inform me how I could raise my credit, how I had an offer from a company for a card, which knowing the card they were offering me would probably be at minimum 20% if not higher. When I told the lady on the phone I never planned to own a card again it was a 'well if you're ever looking to raise your credit'. If you do go through this company, GHOST their follow-up/last call. :)
