My niece with kids recently came to Canada from Ukraine and we were looking for a ballet school for her 9 years old to continue her ballet study.We got lucky when we found Academy Of Ballet & Jazz, School of Canadian Ballet Theatre. Nadia and Solomon played a big part in adjusting her and her family to a new country, they made her feel at home! Nadia is a talented, successful dancer from St. Petersburg, and willing to share her knowledge with a new generation of ballet dancers. The teachers here are phenomenal, they give each dancer personal attention and are committed to developing individual skills, and there is a lovely supportive atmosphere among students. I highly recommend this studio for all levels of dancers - from absolute beginners to professional dancers. It is a super friendly community you won't regret joining.

We have met this ballet school last year. All my three daughters felt in love with such a warm environment and atmosphere. Our family was surprised how classes in Academy inspired our girls. Moreover, children have improved their school results because they became more concentrated and motivated thanks to ballet classes. Additionally, this school develops not only body but soul, my girls have met with musicals and ballets, they love read and watch classical works. I believe, in Nadia's and Solomon's arms my girls are safe and well educated.

Academy of Ballet and Jazz is everything you could dream of in a ballet school. For over 3 decades Nadia and all the incredible staff have trained students from scratch to become professional level dancers. You truly need to look no further for complete, quality dance education. I owe Academy of Ballet and Jazz my entire professional ballet career. Nadia trained me for 10 straight years from the time I was a little girl, and at the age of 17 I was accepted into my dream company, Estonian National Ballet. It's been amazing seeing how all fellow dancers from my generation and beyond continue to achieve their own dream contracts as well, to this day. Academy of Ballet and Jazz inspires and pushes you to be your absolute best - in technical skill, artistry, professionalism, and so much more. This school forever has my heart and I cannot recommend it enough!

This school is a very well established with the best teachers.Nadia is a very patient, knowledgeable hard worker teacher she is the core of the establishment. From this school so many talented student graduated and they are all over the wold.This is the best place for any age group of kids to lear ballet. The choreography the music and the teachers experience gives the best ballet education for any kids.I love the place, I would never send my kids to any other place to learn ballet.

My daughter has gone to the AOBAJ over the last few years and has become a talented dancer. She has also gained a lot of poise and self-confidence. She is very proud of her dancing.The teachers who are professional pay close personal attention to each student's natural abilities therefore they thrive.BEST ballet school!!

If you are looking for a studio that not only focuses on teaching excellent professional level technique, but also for a supportive strong dance community, I cannot recommend the Academy enough! It is filled with caring teachers who work with their student's strengths and help them develop into great dancers and people at that. The atmosphere is always happy and energizing. My experience at the Academy as a student had been joyous and motivational, and I cannot recommend it enough!

The best ballet school in Canada!!! I went here for 25 years and it’s only because of them I was able to become a professional ballerina!!!Whether you want your children to go for fun or to make a professional career out of it, this is the place for you! You can be happy that your children are in the best hands and it is so safe here too!I just had a baby and can’t wait for her to start dancing here too! We are sooooo lucky to have Nadia!!!!

Not the world best teacher for me. I do not see any passion for ballet in the atmosphere here. Nobody seems to like dancing. They just dance for winning the competition. And the owner keeps advertising herself as world best teacher. She just wants to make money. I will never dance in such a place.To reply to the owners comment below. I did go to a 25 dollar trial class a few months ago. I have been dancing ballet for 4 years. Been to difference schools. This is the only school where the teacher doesn't provide any corrections and comments to any of the students. The teacher Just run through the bar exercise and everything. If you teach this way, I don't think a teacher's present is even necessary. The students can follow the video or YouTube channel to practice. Why Would They travel from different places to sit an expensive silent class? I don't understand.

I highly recommend the Academy of Ballet and Jazz. In just one year, my daughter's technique improved and her love of dance grew. The dedicated, caring, and professional staff went above and beyond to ensure each dancer achieved their full potential. We enjoyed being surrounded by a caring and supportive group of dancers and the ABJ dance community. Thank you Ms. Nadia and Mr. Solomon for creating a world-class ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance training program and school.

My daughter has attended Academy of Ballet and Jazz since she was seven years old. Thanks to Nadya and staff she has developed not just ballet dancing skills and proper posture but also confidence and ability to succeed. Been raised with best makes kids in this school the Best. Highly recommend!
