They let me cancel my mom's service without verifying who I was (neither I or my number was affiliated with the account). Gave me personal information (name and address) from the account after only giving the phone number on file . They also wouldn't send me a shipping label for the equipment return, so ontop of paying for the junk service they provide I have to pay to cancel it too.I swear there's only one guy working CS too. He was polite enough but either overworked or just doesn't care about privacy .0/10 wouldn't recommend this company to anyone

The WORST experience! Velcom is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Save yourself a HUGE amount of frustration and spend a few dollars more. For just $10.00 a month more I found a much better product with SIGNIFICANTLY better customer service and tech support. I can't believe Velcom gets any positive reviews...got to be fake! PS. the packages they advertise are NOT what they deliver. HUGE misrepresentation of the mbps.

I would give this review 0 stars if I could.From first glance this company was a good choice for me as a university student because of the cheap fees but trust me you can get better service for similar prices elsewhere. Within 2 months of having this service, there would ALWAYS be interrupted service at least 2-3 times a week ranging from 15mins-1 hour which is super inconvenient for anyone who needs internet to do remote work.I then decided to cancel my subscription after under a year being with Velcom and I will admit that I am at fault for not examining the modem more clearly to finding the contact phone number. But wouldn't you think that a company who wants their equipment back would contact you for you to return their stuff? I did not get a SINGLE email or call and they just automatically charged me for $100 without a single notice.Summary: go find a better PROFESSIONAL provider and you'll save your money

I have been a customer of velcom for several years now, and I must say that I am extremely satisfied with their service. The internet speeds are fast and consistent, which is important for me as I work from home and rely on a reliable internet connection. The customer service is also exceptional, with friendly and knowledgeable representatives who are always willing to help.I had a minor issue with my internet connection a few months ago, and I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently velcom resolved the problem. The representative I spoke with was patient and helpful.Overall, I highly recommend velcom to anyone in need of reliable internet service. Their prices are reasonable, their speeds are fast, and their customer service is top-notch. I give them five stars.

My internet has been out since Saturday morning (it is now Tuesday evening). I have lost work as I work from home, for FOUR DAYS now with no resolution in sight. I've called numerous times, calls are rarely picked up. The company is intentionally ignoring calls as they do not have a solution for DSL customers who have been affected by their line change. I was told that I'd receive a call today in the morning about a modem swap.. no call, and Ive been trying to contact them all afternoon to no avail. COMPANY IS GOING DOWN HILL FAST. No responsibility for issues. No communication. No solutions. This is unacceptable.

TERRIBLE. Non-existent customer support. Took a week for our modem to arrive and it had NO instructions. Tech came for 5min and left with no guidance anything. Take your business elsewhere.

I have been with Velcom for over three years. They provide internet service without a cap for a very reasonable price. When a problem arises they do their best to fix the problem and restore service as quickly as possible. Usually they are quite competent when things go south. They really do value their customers. They aren't perfect, of course. But as far as ISPs go in Canada, they're top notch.

Horrible business to deal with. My partner has been trying to get a statement to show that he paid his invoice and he’s been getting the absolute run around! They submitted the invoice to collections IN ERROR (he had paid it, had all the proof), and now they won’t take it off his credit report!! Avoid this internet provider at all costs!!! Not worth it!!

I have used Velcom for several years and despite the occasional network outage, I was generally satisfied with the services provided. However that all changed this winter when they conducted a transfer of service" which involved issuing their customers a new modem which did not have wireless routing capability. Long story short:1. They told me to purchase my own wireless router to continue using their service.2. After the transfer date
