Citi Cards Canada

Home Depot guy convinced me getting this card would be a great idea, ya.... If you like annoying people calling to ask when are you making your payments as apparently this is their full time job. I would not recommend Citi Cards Canada for any future Home Depot customer or any other Canadians for that matter, until they change their way of doing business.

Declined my home depot consumer application without explanation.... apparently the computers make the decision and they cannot provide insight as to why. Maybe just save time and hassle and go somewhere else.

Be aware…If I had it to do over I wouldn’t apply for Home Depot financing… I shouldn’t have obtained this financing when I purchased appliances. They did 2 inquiries on my credit report and brought my score down unnecessarily!!! And the records stay for 6 years. I’m very annoyed!

Its a scam company.They allowed me to apply for a project loan but same person they can't approve a normal credit card. And as per equifax my credot score is above 800. And they dont give any reason. Its a company policy ".But that same company policy is fine to give me a 30k project loan.This company was responsible for 2008 market crash. And every year they pay millions in fines to authorities for doing illegal practices."

As a professional company I expect my employees to be professional and prepared to client outcomes. Citi cards has failed to hire professionals to do the job and value client. In my case I have applied for home depot commercial card, they called me to say there's not enough info. About Your company even though I could see they did the credit check on equifax report with a good credit score. They requested more information from my bank to make it easy for me to get approved " so I submitted to them even though they gave me wrong fax number and not sure where my informationwent and I had to re fax my information again to the right fax .I called them few days later to to follow up they don't give any accurate info. And they hung up on my 3 times. Now they are saying it's up to my bank to speed up the process."

Same idea with the score. Got a mail and NOT going to proceed. Stay away from this mickey mouse company.

I had issue logging online to view my statement. I reached out to them to see if I can get my password rest. Call their customer car and I was told not possible if the account is past due. When I signed up to use my online account, I stopped receiving a mailed copy of my statement. I will not make a payment before seeing my statement. Your customer Rep was arguing why I need to still see a paper copy when she clearly knows I can’t access my online statement. I asked for a paper copy because they refuse to enable my online logins and her answer was “You haven’t purchased anything since December” Its none of your business if I used the card or not. Your business is sending a statement and collecting payment. I don’t think I the customer asking too much. Give me access to my statement and I’ll make payments. I know companies like you don’t care, but your service is very poor and unprofessional. You lost me as a customer, and I will not be using your any longer.

Less 1 Day being a Customer and I cancelled. I tried twice to [purchase something with this Credit" never happened. i called to the helpdesk and after 5 minutes trying to skip the automatic service to speak to a human

I just file a dispute with Equifax. Never heard of that company and got a report on my credit about an application

I applied for home depot credit card, my credit score was above 800 and it dropped by 37 points! They didn’t even give me the credit card! Now this stays on my records for 6 years!! Shouldn’t they tell you about this in the first place? They only told me it’s a soft credit check, but it’s actually a hard credit check that they do! And it has a huge impact on you score! The impact is actually greater than my mortgage!!
