Things Engraved Online Only

Haven't been in years because when I last used them I was really disappointed with the engraving work on an expensive pen I purchased. The engraving is rough and was jagged, I was unsure if they would redo it on a new item, so I didn't ask. In hindsight I should have asked. Found out these stores are most likely closing for good anyways.

If anyone needs a key cut I wouldn't recommend Things Engraved

I had to go back 3 times and the last time the lady wouldn't stop chatting and focus on my key situation.
So I asked if the male incharge could cut my key and he did.

He did not offer a gift certificate or to refund my money and give me a free key

It had to be suggested to the guy incharge.

Then to make things even worst the lady made a racial comment while the guy was cutting the key so he never heard

The current staff are incompitant and dont know about Canadian Charter Bill Of Rights and freedoms

Asking someone or stating someones ethnisity is a federal crime

Went in and a young woman helped me, not very pleasant and very abrupt. The product is very nice. I have been in there to look and have walked by at different times morning,afternoon,and evening and have yet to see or be able to speak to the manager. The young woman has said there is a woman manager who apparently works there and no one else can be contacted to speak to about the bad customer service.

I just wanted to say how happy I was with the service at this location! Last week I had an issue with another things engraved location. They had mistakenly engraved the wrong initials on my compass and I was on a time crunch to get this fixed. I went to the Southgate location and the storeManager engraved my compass forFree and did not charge me! She was so professional and so helpful! I just wanted to commend her for showing great customer service! Recommend this location!

Mickey Mouse Motors car lot Philosophy...Purchased a plate for my fathes 65th and ran into issues when cleaning the plate. I spoke with manager after as I wanted to know what product can be used to clean and if they could save me some money when ordering a replacement. Nothing! No options she didn't even care that I ran into problems. Awards Unlimited is better priced and they have actually made sure I didn't have buyer's remorse. You piss someone off they will tell 20 people....you make someone happy they will tell 3 people. That's business learn how to earn it and not throw it away. We live in a small city and word travels fast!!

20 minutes after open I am still standing outside waiting for it to open so that I can pick up my item that should have been done yesterday but was done incorrectly.Probably will not use this location again

Went in to purchase a plate to engrave. Lost my business when the female employee wouldn't get off her phone to answer my questions.

Went there to make a duplicate of one of my keys and I was attended to promptly and politely and when I got home, the newly cut key worked. I am definitely happy with my first time experience at this store.

For people purchasing from this store - make sure you check to ensure the product you have purchased is actually in the box. I bought 2 pens, but when I got home one of the boxes was empty. I thought this would be an easy fix, but I was wrong. Employee communication was extremely disorganized between stores and I was sent to Kingsway only to discover they had the wrong pen (even though I had specifically called to make sure it was there - the lady said yes), and was then asked to go back to the original store I had purchased from. Don't expect much from upper management either on ensuring customer satisfaction. They wasted my time and resources for a mistake they caused and the employees then told upper management inaccurate information about the situation making it sound as though I had caused their mistake. I will definitely not be bringing my business back, even though I received a 25% off my next purchase coupon for my inconvenience.""

They did a terrible job and still charged us the full amount and were nothing but rude about it!
