South Shore Cottage Rentals Lake St. Peter

weve been there a few times since the new owners took over, and let me tell you they have made the place beautiful, Brad and his wife are kind, make sure the guests have the ultimate experience and comfort. The lake views are amazingly beautiful, and we always have the best time. It really is a family friendly place. Cant wait to go back!

Owners, Brad and Dory could not have been more accommodating. Weekly amazing bbq's, boat rides, delivering wood. A perfect family vacation and a truly wonderful place for small children. They offer canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, stand up boards and so many play items for the kids. We rented 3 of the 5 cabins and all were fully supplied. Can't wait to go back next year!

We had an amazing experience. My children didn't want to leave. The lake is crystal clear, abundance of wildlife and fish. We actually saw a painted turtle. The owners, Brad and Dori were the most gracious of hosts. They were very attentive and ensured our stay was memorable. The accommodations were clean and well stocked. Beautiful views of the lake from the cottage as well. Lovely sunsets. There are lots of activities such as kayaking, fishing, paddle boating to name a few. Its an ideal vacation spot. Definitely going back.

We booked a few cottages for a weekend with 3 families and had an absolutely wonderful time! Brad and Dori were great hosts and even set up a few activities including a boat ride for the kids in our group. The beach was perfect and it was great all around. Highly recommend it and will be back again! Thanks for everything!

Amazing place. Brad and his wife were like family to us. They had a treasure hunt set up for our little girl. She loved it. Great view, cottages are in great shape. Direct access to all kinds of atv/dirt bike trails. Will definitely be going back.

We spent an absolutely wonderful week at South Shore Cottage Resort. This place has everything you can wish for cottage vacation: warm, calm and crystal clear lake, comfortable well stocked waterfront cottages, sand beach to play, a great variety of watercraft:kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, waterbikes.... West sun exposure with spectacular sunsets and campfires at the shore. Great location only 30 min from Algonquin Park and few min from Lake St.Peter park. But the best of all are the hosts: Brad and Dori are the most amazing owners we ever met, they really care about the guests and went above and beyond for us! We felt very welcome and had the best ever cottage vacation. Thank you! We wish to be back next year!

We found South shore online last second and were caught off guard by how awesome our experience was. The property is beautifully maintained and there were many amenities to compliment our stay here (ie. Kayaks, canoe, paddle boards). The cottage was clean, cozy, and fully equipped for our stay. Literally everything you could need was there from utensils to playing cards.What made this stay so memorable was the hospitality of the owners. We were offered wood for fires, boat tour of the lake, BBQ after they had cooked some food. Late the first night the owners saw us driving into town and called to make sure everything was alright. Since we were going into town to get some Advil for a headache they told us to come back and gave us some instead to save us the 30 min drive (one way) and avoid the risk of hitting an animal at night.The owners were very easy going and made us feel comfortable during our stay. They were very accommodating and were always available if we needed them.We would definitely recommend a stay here and plan on coming back in the future!

OMG this place was amazing. What can i say about the owners - Brad and Doreen - they were “out of the world”; they took us tubing, ride on the boat, cooked a full meat meal for 18 of us at NO extra cost. I enjoyed every second at this fantastic place with 17 of my family members for over a week. The price was so reasonable.Brad and Doreen - a million thanks to both of you. God Bless

Our daughter got married this past weekend.Prior to ... and to relax after the wedding ... we stayed at South Shore. Our 3 bedroom cottage was everything we could ask for. Beds were comfortable ... which was very important as my wife had injured her back the week before our arrival. Restaurants in Witney and Bancroft are about a 20 minute drive ... food is excellent.Due to the sudden drop in temperature we were unable to enjoy the water and water amenities. But we did enjoy a fabulous camp fire.Dori and Brad are a wonderful couple. Communication before our arrival and during our stay was excellent.We intend to return with our granddaughter in the not too distant future.We would highly recommend Brad and Dori's place for a relaxing, fun vacation.

I love this resort and I can't wait to go again this year. It has a nice beach, canoes, kayaks, paddle boat and paddle board all included with the stay, but what makes this place extra special are the owners. Brad and Dori are so nice and generous, and now they are friends for life!
