Norco Bicycles - North Shore

I was so impressed with the service. The staff understood that my son was ultra anxious for his new bike. We purchased it and it arrived within a week. They called, like they said they would, to let my son know the bike arrived. Then they built it within a couple of days which was faster than anticipated. Super impressed with the service and knowledge from the staff!

I'm writing this review with a measure of genuine frustration. Typically, bike shops go above and beyond to ensure your experience is seamless and enjoyable. However, Norco North Shore didn’t even come close. When I’m shelling out $6,000+ for a bike, I expect a certain level of engagement and guidance. Norco North Shore’s response was the equivalent of a lackadaisical, “Cool, checkout at the front.” No information about the bike, no fitting, and seemingly no interest in the fact that I was making a substantial purchase. I felt like just another transaction to them.Buying an expensive bike isn’t just about the bike itself; it's about forging a long-lasting relationship with a shop that you expect to provide service and support for years to come. Norco, however, seemed determined to accomplish the exact opposite.To add insult to injury, I’ve faced numerous issues with the bike since purchasing it. Norco North Shore’s response? A begrudging, “Fine, I guess we'll deal with it. It’s as if the moment my credit card was swiped

Tried to return a Christmas gift two weeks after Christmas, gift was ordered in and my wife was told if it was the wrong one it could be returned and a new one brought in. Right away we were told 20% restocking charge ($40) and in store credit only because it was 2 weeks past purchase date. Keep in mind, this was a Christmas gift. Fellow in store not helpful at all. I have been in retail and would have put the return back on the sales floor as it is a product they supposedly sell but have limited stock.As a avid cyclist I won't return to this shop.Lastly, this is the first review I have ever written so you can understand the customer service, or lack there of that we received and how disappointed I am for local bike shop.In hindsight maybe online shopping is the way to go.

Fantastic customer service. I had a niggling issue with the front brake on my new bike and they went to length to help me sort it out. We ended up getting three bikes from these guys.

Since having a pretty bad experience at another shop earlier this year, this shop has been my go-to for any repairs that are beyond my scope. Each and everytime, my bike comes back in excellent working condition, and I find the cost of repairs to be very fair. Thank you to the mechanics for the quick, and on point repairs that you do. The faster I'm back on the trails, the happier I am, and you have done an incredible job. Would 100% recommend.

I have been a satisfied and happy customer at John Henry for many many years and have never posted a review.Purchased many a bikes, accessories, and had servicing on my bikes for myself and the family. Quality products! Excellent service!They always stand behind their products and service.My last experience at Norco John Henry about 2 months ago with the service guys was outstanding. Long story short, I had a hard time finding a brake lever to replace my broken one on my mtn bike.(Unfortunately I forgotten the name of the 2 fellows in their service department), but they went above and beyond to find a solution in fixing my broken lever so I could have it in time to ride for a weekend trip.I can't say enough about theprofessional, knowledgeable, and always friendly service. The sales staff are always helpful. Truly a community bike shop in which the staff values their customers and takes pride in what they sell!During the Pandemic, they took all precautions to keep staff and customers safe.Kudos to this down to earth,non-pretentous bike shop!

Repair shop did a same day repair, super fair price, and threw in a free part for a different bike. Will be returning.

I had an amazing experience with Tristan, Shaun, Rob Cam and Tobie. I bought a bike from them and I've never experienced such good service from a team. Tobie built the bike really well. Rob helped me in the store and gave me really good advice. Tristan also gave me excellent advice on the selection and sizing of the bike. The after sales service when I returned fro a bike checked was again an amazing experience. The energy in the shop feels local but the standards are world class. Don't miss this bike shop if your in BC!!!
