What A Bagel Eatery - Thornhill

I went there today for world bagel's day and the lady was very rude, she gave me the attitude, it seems she thinks she is better than us and hopes everyone should beg her to get free bagels. If you cannot afford free bagels then don't do it. She is not professional and should be fired. The store really should have better customer service.

The employees are usually rude and have attitude. They lack situational awareness of their line. There has been more than one occasion where they have helped whoever comes up to them without considering who’s been waiting patiently in line for their turn.When inquired why a gentleman who was behind me was served before me, the staff member said he just needed to pay. That would be understandable, but we both previously waited in line while several others who still needed to have their bagels prepared etc. were served. When I got to the counter to just order and pay for a black coffee, he was then cashed out before me. If he just needed to pay and that was truly the reason for him being served first, then he should have just been cashed out way earlier. I understand if a person who just needs to pay can bypass the line, but be consistent with how customers are served. Otherwise, a simple apology for accidentally skipping a customer would suffice.Either a better system needs to be implemented, the staff need to be trained to monitor the queue and serve accordingly, or some sign needs to be put up to just approach whenever a staff member is free for service.On the bright side, they’re convenient and their bagels are decent.

I went here today, and I got bad customer experience here.My husband ordered bagel with cream herb and garlic cream cheese with 2 lox, and he got the bagel without salmons. So I asked about it, and the lady who got the order, she kept saying he didn't order with the salmon even I saying I heared that he ordered right. Also, she checked to me twice before she made the sandwich. After that, she yelled at me that I had to pay $2 for salmon, but it was also the wrong price too.Of course, I can pay for it, but I was upset about her attitude because she blamed my husband and made us weird customers.She better change her attitude to the customers and be professional. I will never come back for this place again. Terrible experience ever.

Rude Staff.Live in the area, have tried them 3 times now, even brought my parents once. Staff are incredibly rude.I am sure they are nice to the owner, and the odd customer, but they always treat me poorly.Please watch your cameras if you have them and see how your staff are treating customers, you are losing business because of them. I am a very polite, regular guy, to be treated this poorly for just existing in your store is beyond me, and I've been going to the Dufferin location(they aren't that much better) for years.Whoever is hiring your staff needs to lose their job and if it's the owner, you are throwing business away, if I am put off by how rude your staff are, there are hundreds more.Sweet old ladies aren't as sweet as you think.Will not be coming back again.

I love to come to What a Bagel with my son! it is amazing place! such a great bagels and scramble eggs! I really enjoy to have a bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam and a cup of hot coffee! Service and staff are amazing! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

went here for lunch today and got a omelette with smoked salmon. The service was really good and the food tasted great as well.

I had a Schnitzel with Home fries to go, and it was so delicious! Perfect flavour and reminded of a sandwich I would make at home! And the home fries felt more like a fried chunk of potatoes, but very well executed! Definitely go back there again , the vibe is the reason I cant give it a 5-star rating!

Absolutely yummy brunch. Good variety of selections. Extremely crowded on the weekends for obvious reasons. When they are busy then the quality could be below the expectations. My coffee cup had lipsticks on it originally but after I notified the server he changed for me quickly.

Always my go-to spot for fresh bagels and a large egg salad that I can use for my own toppings. This place is nice because it's also a built-in diner where you can pick your bagels and choose your toppings. Great parking availability and the lineups are usually pretty quick if you don't come during rush hour times.

Shaun was an impressive server. He knew his product and helped us select our meal items. The food, eggs benedict, bagel with flavoured cream cheese, were prepared quite well. We were also surprised to find an in-house spicy mayo too. We liked everything enough to purchase a half dozen bagels on the way out. The bagels at home were wonderful too. We're looking forward to visiting again.
