O'Brien House Bed & Breakfast

Marie is a lovely host she will adapt her breakfast to what you want! The location is great if you have a car its only a few minutes aways from downtown! As a french Canadian, Marie had no problem with ha trying ours best to talk in english she is very patient! The spot is also great for a small walk late at night and is in a friendly neighborhood and really safe inside so no need to worry about getting your stuff stole or scavenge! 10/10 would go back there if im going back yo kingston

room was bigger then i was expecting and clean, breakfast was great. Mary and buster do a great job at what they do, all other services advertised where available and in working order. i personalty had no issues, parking was available but due to the nature of the street i can see it being a bit of a issue if there was a lot of guests

Breakfast was good but the owner was rude and not hospitable. Room was cleanish but the floors in the room and bathroom were dirty with loose hairs in the corners of the room etc. No parking, and I was told to move my vehicle multiple times. While eating my breakfast (I was the only guest awake at the time between 2 other guests) I was told to move where I was sitting to another spot as the spot I was sitting in was reserved for the other guests. House looks nice in photos but all rooms are in the basement and not upgraded as they appear in photos. My bed was lopsided, sloping to the right, making it a very uncomfortable sleep. Price online stated it included fees and taxes but upon arrival owner told me I had to pay a different price. I would not recommend staying here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at this B&B. Delicious breakfasts, interesting chats with Mary. We also enjoyed our dog fix" with Buster. I would also like to say that we really enjoyed the sites

Mary was so kind and accommodating, she made us feel very comfortable! I recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in Kingston. Mary also has the cutest dog named Buster! Thank you for having us. We hope to be back in the summer time.

Alway a Bed but no Breakfast. Covid reason?But price didn't get lower. Cash only, prépare to pay extra if you reserve with a service like Booking etc. Bed confortable, all room are in the basement.

This is the same review I wrote on booking.com.This is a very unique bed and breakfast. Visiting from Toronto, I chose this for the great reviews and the great price - and I was satisfied to know that it exceeded my expectations. Please note it's cash only, so make sure you stop by a bank machine before you arrive (it should say under payment" when you book).There are four rooms on the basement level

This is a lovely place to stay. Clean and cozy! We slept well and had a great breakfast. Our host was very welcoming. Would definately recommend this bed and breakfast.

Always satisfied when i go there. The lady name kate taylor is a liar. There is no space heaters in the room. The rooms have fireplaces in them so to keep it warm. Also the sheets are always new and clean. So idk why this mean lady would lie but she did folks and its awful and not true. I know the family that runs this bed and breakfast and I know the house its in very well. So I can tell you all that this is not true what kate taylor said. Its sad and pathetic that she would do this.
