The shopping experience at this Pier 1 store did not live up to the experience of the Pier 1 stores I have shopped at in Southern Ontario. I ordered two outdoor chairs, which were promised to me in front of the store manager and my spouse. Employees affirmed the chairs would be delivered on a particular Friday. I called the day prior of the intended delivery, with an employee confirming it would be arriving the following day. I followed up calling the day of the intended delivery, which Emily" verbalized that there must of been some miscommunication on their part and that they would not be delivered until the next Friday. Instead of the company taking responsibility by offering the manager to call the customer apologizing

The store had hardly any merchandise. I'm all about minimalistic expression and all but how does a company expect to stay afloat when it doesn't have any stuff to sell?
