I had called many places and no one returned my call or they'd give me really high prices. So I googled locksmith and ended up on Yuri due to his high numbered google reviews. One call with him, and I knew I landed on the right person. Professional, calm, polite. Showed up when he said he would. Easy breezy. Definitely recommend him to anyone. Price is fair. No hidden surprises. And he's charming too! We like nice people. I'd recommend him to any friend.

On the coldest night this winter, provided great, professional service when I got locked out of my house. Would recommend without hesitation.

Firstly, I'd like to say that my bad review isn't entirely on the locksmith in question. I would however like to clarify some things for those that may not be in the know so you can avoid my upset. Firstly, his visit will cost you 230$, that is on top of any costs to actually fix your issue. Meaning that if you are like me, and he comes and sees he cannot fix the problem, you will still be charged the 230$ for the under 10 mins assessment. I was told that the reason my lock could not be fixed or replaced is because of the thickness of my door. That being said, every door on my block is of similar thickness so I'm surprised this was a constraint. Be aware, if you have a door even slightly over 2 inches thick, they cannot replace the lock. Lastly, he called his visit an emergency visit. I'm not sure if that affected the cost, but had I known, I'd have been happy to wait longer than the 4 hours I did in order to be served. It could have even waited for the next day or 2. I asked on the phone when his next availability was, not knowing that perhaps I projected urgency where there was none. He did warn me about the cost of a weekend visit (maybe that is what counted as an emergency), I just didn't imagine that he couldn't fix the lock or replace it. So now I'm 230$ down, and still need to find a locksmith that can work on my thick door lol. Definitely a learning experience to bring to the next locksmith. He was polite and didn't waste time with his assessment so I cannot give 1 star despite my shell shock at the experience. I suppose I half expected that if he couldn't help fix or replace the lock, I wouldn't have had to pay so much. Seeing all the positive reviews, I can't imagine this happens very often. Just be informed and don't be afraid to ask questions over the phone despite your lack of knowledge of the field. Ideally, I'd have preferred to not give a rating and just warn people about the experience so it doesn't affect his overall rating, but that isn't an option, and with the experience I just had, I cannot give a passing grade. I'm impressed with the detail that he puts into the work. I've called in multiple services but I've never had anyone that pay as much attention as he did, and it was half the price I paid for any other. I'd definitely call for this service again if opportuntiy were to arise.
