Langford Pharmasave (Compounding Pharmacy)

Not feeling good having to write this review but there have been too many mess ups in the pharmacy department and others should be informed. We have been using this pharmacy for the last few years and generally we really like it! Chris the pharmacist is great, he is very knowledgeable and friendly. There is never a very long wait to get an RX filled, and no huge lines like the chain pharmacies. Unfortunately we have continuously had issues with the assistants/cashiers at the pharmacy. The problem seems the assistants do not know how to correctly process insurance claims, or deal with payments which is a red flag and has costed us money and lots of time on the phone with the insurers. The fees are higher than other pharmacies, which we are absolutely comfortable paying with the expectation of a better quality service, but that has not been the case lately. Hopefully the management can better train the front end pharmacy staff to coordinate payments, ensure accuracy, and learn to do simple POS procedures like refunds for overpayment.

I received lovely customer service from Canada Post at Pharmasave Langford. Really appreciate the help from the staff lady who assisted me!!

My first time getting a prescription filled today at this pharmacy and had a great experience.

All staff are super friendly and welcoming. Kind, Informative and prompt service from the pharmacy team… even with special circumstances. Thanks Chris for sorting things out.

This is the worst pharmacy I have seen.We asked them to give us prescribed painkiller for our little daughter, who was in severe pain and had just arrived from the children's hospital. We very much asked to do everything before the evening, as the Doctor said that the medicine should be taken before bedtime. The pharmacy promised us to do it. And no one called us back. We called the pharmacy at 7:15 pm and the answering machine said they were already closed, although they are open until 9 pm. But they are already closed !!!Do you think someone called us back the next day? NO!Think, they forwarded our prescription to another pharmacy? NO!They just forgot about us!If I could, I would revoke the license from the pharmacy, which is so irresponsible in relation to children who urgently need pain relievers.This is the worst service I have seen in pharmacies ever.UPDATE: Thank you, Owner, to resolve the issue. I really appreciate your efforts. I have changed the Rate.

The pharmacy area was the best . I didn't catch their names it was a man and a lady. They were excellent and so very nice. Dealing with my prescription issues.. so patient and understanding. I give the pharmacy area 5 stars..

Waited 3 days to have prescription filled. Upon arriving at pharmacy they could not find prescription. Waited another 15 to 20 minutes for them to “re-do” prescription. This is not the first time we have delays. Time to look for a better organized Pharmacy.

I travel out of my way to go to this pharmacy. Chris, the pharmacist, is great. He remembers you, welcomes you, is friendly and helpful. I used to think I was just a number to be called at other pharmacies, but when Chris takes care of you, you’ll want to drive out of your way too. Who even knew that the pharmacy, could contact your dr on your behalf to see if they would renew a prescription. This Pharmasave made the offer, made the contact and got me my prescription. I highly recommend the Langford Pharmasave.
