Amazing home style Japanese food. One of my favourite stops on a regular basis. Can easily recommend everything on the menu no misses here. The onigiri is the best and the chicken is unreal.

Delicious. I was wary of eating Japanese food in Montreal, after my trip to Japan. But - I gave it a try, and loved the curry! The karaage was quite good as well.

[4.5] the Japanese chicken curry was amazing. Just what I was craving. The karaage was just okay, great dipping sauce though.A lot of takeout comes through here, but I enjoyed sitting in the small restaurant. The two staff members were extremely friendly and “hospitable”. Great service! Will be coming back again.

Great food with good portions for a surprisingly cheap price. A large bowl of Oyakodon for 10$ in this current age of inflation is a great relief

The wings are by far the best thing on the menu!!! Everything was fresh and crispy and left no unpleasant after taste! Restaurant seems to be more of a takeout counter but would recommend dining in for the full experience (and avoid takeout bag condensation ruining the food haha)

Food and service is great! Love Japanese curry: it’s affordable, tasty, and fast. It’s not fancy Izakaya so try not to compare it to that. Go somewhere else if you want some kind of dynamic experience, but you will pay much more. The Plateau was desperately in need of some inexpensive new places to eat, and they nail it! I do not like their chairs, but it’s a very minor complaint. However, if you have back issues and need comfortable seating to enjoy a meal, this might not be optimal.

Came here because I was in the mood for something consistent and homemade feeling. The food here is amazing and top quality! The staff are really friendly and kind! They will assist you if you have questions about their dishes. Will come here again and definitely try the curry

My Ebi Katsu tasted exactly like the dish tastes like in Japan (I’m Japanese).I will definitely come back here to try more of their dishes.

Had the curry porc with the Takoyaki. Tako's were pretty good. Nice pieces of squid in there. Remember while it's moving it's too hot ;) Curry porc on rice was simple yet satisfying.In the winter (6 degrees outside) this place is like being outside! Don't expect to undress anybites!

Dishes are very good. The portion of boneless chicken wasn’t very nice. But the rest is amazing and fair price :) def recommend it
