I just had the best experience here! I was so nervous to donate for my first time and from the minute I walked in the staff was so so sweet and made my donation go so well! That walked me through everything, made sure I was comfortable and were really quick :)

Before the pandemic they checked your blood pressure as a first time donor. I found out my blood pressure was very high and immediately consulted with a doctor. Now they stopped checking blood pressure for first time donors.

The services are good but for indians, they've classified India as malaria risk and thus wait time of 3 years from day of landing to be eligible for blood donation. The rules may change in future but do try to call and check with them before coming else you may be in for disappointment

First of all I'd like to say that i love donating blood, the fact of giving blood to a random person and it's going to be useful for them makes me feel really good. It's my first time donating in Canada and I'd like to say that it was great, when i arrived i had to register and i got a cute Be nice to me

Waste of time. Was waiting in line a long time despite appointment and made to stand despite mobility issues. When I was at the top of the line a phlebotomist told me that she thought one of my health issues, which is visible but she knew nothing about of about me, told me she thought" the issue would prevent me from donating so I might as well leave. I had a already checked in online and passed the requirements. The was just a random staff member who approached me while I was in line to check in."

Proficient and pleasant nurses to accept your blood donation, not to mention the free drinks and snacks…also less than a block south of Randy’s Roti or Happy Burger (bit further north past Canadian Tire), both help your body replenish afterwards ;-)

Rude staff. Avoid this location at all costs. 5 terrible experiences here and I won't go back. The complete lack of gratitude for people who volunteerily donate blood is what this location's vibe is.

I’ve donated there before and it was amazing but today I went there and I couldn’t donate because my temperature was 37.6 and the ideal is 37.5, it was slightly above the ideal because I was walking. The nurse didn’t let me wait a bit and then check the temperature a few minutes after. Very frustrating!

I've had mostly great experiences at this clinic from the volunteers at the front to the nurses throughout. Let them know if you're nervous and they'll help you.My twin and I just had our 16th and 24th donations here.

I visited today to accompany a friend with social anxiety to give blood for the first time. He asked me to stay with him until he was checked in and then I would grab a coffee while I waited. The young man at the check-in desk was passive aggressive and repeatedly tried to separate us making the experience uncomfortable and causing my friend to become very stressed. A little additional care needs to be taken, especially with first time visitors. If people bring someone along, there's probably a reason behind that and sensitivity should be used when dealing with the public.
