Plain Bicycle at the Forks
Dropped into Plain Bicycle unannounced by chance (recommended by the awesome staff at The Wrench) 30 Jun 23 as I realized during my ride that the chain and cassette sorely needed replacement. Scott asssisted me and went above and beyond to fetch the right high quality parts located offsite. The work was completed in approx an hour and the initial quote, which was very reasonable, proved accurate. Thank you Scott for you expertise, exceptional service, kindness, genuine care and consideration!

Awesome place! Staff were super friendly and helpful when helping me choose a dutch bike. A minor issue popped up with the bike shortly after purchasing, but they were able to quickly fix it up for me and it works great now!They are missing a huge opportunity by not stocking dutch candies for the nostalgic fans of the candy train though...

Not a customer but I love the shop space and the products. Girl at the counter was friendly.5 stars for their intentions and passion to bringing Dutch cycling culture into the heart of Canada. Hope you see you guys on the west coast (Van and Vic would suit you well!)

Plain Bicycle at the Forks
Rented a Dutch bike at the forks location because it was very convenient for me. We had some bike issues after renting, but Plain Bicycles was able to to resolve those problems as soon as they could.Overall, I enjoyed my Dutch bike experience! Winnipeg was the perfect place to try the bikes out since the city is mostly flat.

You can rent bikes for a fee or test them in the immediate vicinity for free. The higher centre of gravity on Dutch bikes was not as jarring as I had anticipated it would be. The turning radius on the other hand is quite wide compared to mountain bikes. 100% would recommend a dutch bike for commuting/hauling if your route is mostly straight & flat.
