A lot of restaurants, bbtea’s and desserts in this plaza ! Really enjoy coming here and finding a random place to eat. There’s even a indoor playground on the second level of this plaza for kids.

A bustling plaza located near the border between Richmond Hill and Markham, Commerce Gate is a great place to grab a bite to eat or a sip of delicious boba! Whether it be at any of the excellent Asian restaurants located within the plaza, or at one of the fantastic bubble tea stores, Commerce Gate has something delicious at any budget! There also tend to be quite cool cars here in the evenings, so if you're a car spotter, you won't want to miss out!

Ordered 2 drinks and the employee somehow heard both wrong. It happens sometimes because of language barriers so we let it slide. But the “passionfruit green tea” we got was the worst we’ve ever had. It was extremely watery and sour, didn’t taste like green tea or passionfruit. I don’t know how a boba place could mess up something as basic as a passionfruit green tea.

I like Commerce Gate for the variety of bubble tea shops and food options. The parking lot is another story! The surface parking is always slammed during busy times so check out the underground parking if you're stuck. Usually there's spots there and there are stairs that lead up to the main level.

Parking is horrible. Legit seen two times where a car crashed into a store… lots of dangerous drivers here. Be careful!

Great plaza for food in Markham/Richmond Hill. With a seemingly endless amount of bubble tea shops, this is my preferred place to stop for a drink whenever I'm around the area. The parking situation is usually not the greatest but we've always managed to find a spot to pull into quickly to grab our drinks. Coco, Chatime, The Alley, OneZo, and Matcha Tea & Dessert are my go-to shops at Commerce Gate but they also have Tiger Sugar, TP Tea, Yomie's Yogurt, and probably a few more. In terms of food, I've heard Donburi, Hoki Poke, Korean Grill House, and Ricey Silo are solid choices. However, there are so many more food places that seem to be worth a try!
