Alberta First Choice Moving

This was absolutely hands down the best moving company I have ever used. The team worked so hard for us on a Sunday and were incredible. I had originally booked another company, when I called to confirm there was no answer or voicemail.Alberta First Choice saved the day!!!On time, professional, we had some good laughs too!! I would very highly recommend!!!

First I was impressed that they were the only company that called me after submitting a quote. Not just email a quote. Thanks Luke.Alana and Josh were my movers and they were outstanding considering all the obstacles they encountered with my move. So polite and quick to finding a solution. Nothing was broken or ripped, etc.if I could give them a 10 star. I would highly recommend them.

I would definitely hire them again. I loved that I requested 4 movers, and all 4 showed. 3 were fantastic and 4th not as careful and a little on the lazy side. A few things damaged, but I expect that in a move. Best of all they showed up early, worked hard and fast, were friendly and efficient and a great price. They made it easy and uncomplicated. I talked to a few companies to get estimates for an in-town move from a 3 bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment style condo. Alberta First Choice Movers had the lowest per hour rate and similar or slightly lower estimated number of hours, as the others. They estimated the number of boxes I would need and, at my request (because I had some boxes already), delivered only part of what I would ultimately need. When I contacted them by text message or phone call for more boxes or paper, it was delivered, usually the next day.On moving day:Estimated arrival: 9:00 - 9:30 amActual arrival: 8:55 amThe three workers worked steadily to load their truck, They were polite, competent and efficient.Estimated load completion: 3 hoursActual load completion: 2.5 hoursEstimated and actual drive time: 15 minutesEstimated unload completion: 3.25 hoursActual unload completion: 3.00 hoursThere was no dump and run"

Josh, Alina, Jared, Jeff were absolutely incredible today. Completely careful with all my walls and floors as they moved us out of town. Everyone was super friendly and followed directions amazingly. Luke was the sales guy and super easy to deal with. This company is very affordable for tight budgets. First choice should be your first call for all your moving needs.

I appreciated the manager reaching out to discuss the unprofessionalism of the crew we had but it still caused a domino of issues for us overall. It seems the crew we had took advantage of following protocol while the boss was away. I'm posting this review because I am leaving a 5⭐️ on the two companies that helped us instead, on short notice and were pleasant and professional.

I booked this company and the service was AMAZING. I can’t speak enough to how professional these guys were. I hired them to pack and moved and it was really stress free. When selling a house and buying another whilst core donating moves it can get stressful and this company made sure I was completely taken care off. Bonus points for them safely lowering my sectional down the balcony haha - that was an adventure!

They moved all my belongings from Edmonton to Calgary. I was very impressed with the level of service and value I received throughout.Luke was very easy and clear to deal with. He accommodated all of our needs and was great at communicating every step of the way.Josh and Alaina were excellent, kind and very hard working. They took everything down and put it back together in our new residence very quickly and efficiently, they were great to deal with. Everyone in the team was professional, responsive and high quality during the entire process.I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend it to anyone that needs support to move.
